    Thanks! So if I buy a 128GB card, I have to make sure it uses abt 30GB at first. I got it. There would be no other issues with a 128GB card as long as it is FAT32 formatted, correct?

    I have a New 3dsXL and want to buy a bigger microSD card. I searched a bit and read that if you have more than 99GB of free space, you have to fill it up with some files because the home screen will slow down, CFW may have some issues, etc.. Is this still the case?

    Thanks didn't notice that. But will all the warning and caveats written there, it seems more trouble than it's worth for what I want to do. I can always get a Japanese image of the game instead if there's something that particular game has to access the eShop or online for.
