Yup didn't think to do that, I use my PS4 rarely so I didn't think to do anything special. I may just try to update to 7.02 but if anyone has a link to preform said backup so I can always revert that be appreciated
Back porting was a pain and I wanted to rip some new games that I got that where sitting around collecting dust.
You think I should just jump to 7.02 huh?
Recently updated to 6.72 and now my YouTube VR is all wonky and doesn't display pictures currently. It's like messed up cinima mode.
Anyone have any suggestions or another way to watch VR videos? I'm willing to update to a newer firmware if needed
Yeah i plan to system format but want the hacked nand because i don't trust sd cards not to corrupt
Or are you saying without a virgin nand im bunked even with system format
Getting back into things after being away for a while. I want to play MM2 online when it drops so i am trying to get setup for it. Have a hacked switch with sxos on sys nand. Here's what i plan let me know where i am wrong.
Backup nand and all things nand related
Backup sd card
Make emunand...
Updated to newest released check
Update to 6.2 check
Go onto an iso site and grab some ftp links add them to tx check
Download and play a backup i own check
Seems like a solid update
I just updated to 5.05 via recovery.
Once on 5.05 vr askes to update, perform said update.
Load newest hen (vr should auto enable) and play fpkg like normal
That's basically what i want to do. TX menu should work regardless of FW and its purposes is just for chain loading and nand backup / restore / emunand
I am going to try this over the weekend, a friend just said they got a low SN used on 6.2.
Buy sxox license
Use tx to make a nand backup
Use this guide to dg to 6.1

Boot into RCM...
I have been wondering about this. Do you think we could do the following for 6.2+ assuming RCM works and you buy the tx license.
Boot tx on 6.2 and make a nand backup
Boot ChoiDujourNX (this would need to work somehow via rcm which it currently does not)
In ChoiDujourNX downgrade to 6.1
Boot...
