    Hardware WiiU doesn't boot

    I had similar issue where after it crashed while playing a game it wouldn't boot. I removed the battery and left it disconnected for a while, then reinsterted the battey, turned it on it took a long time but eventually booted after that it just boots normally again, hope it also works for you.

    Actually, each time it saves your game progress it writes to the same location the game files are in. It would have been nice if the console could have the game content in USB and the save data in nand but sadly nintendo did't think so.

    for those under linux I've found a way to do hide /unhide the drive: this is for experienced users, as the dd command can be very dangerous, if you don't know what the 'dd' command does.. then you are better booting windows and using jayjay123's program.
