If I remember right they are replacing club nintendo with another rewards system. New games will not have Club nintendo codes but will be able to go towards the new system.
this is just me personally but unless they are obviously trying to scam you don't give a negative rating until talking with them first.
edit: contact them, they may give you a $20+ refund for a $5 fix.
I just tested it, It didn't work. it is a bit too thin and flimsy but I did print in abs so that may be the issue. doing a test I couldn't really tell it was different, possibly because the circle pad part seemed to be able to slide over it
I saw on kotaku that gamestop was doing walk in pre-orders, a very limited amount too. the closest gamestop opened at 10 (3 and a half hours ago) i went there around 11 or 11:30 and asked the employee. he said he just barely got the email 5 min ago detailing how many walk in pre-orders their...
While I didn't mind the motion controls it would be nice. I always wondered if it would be possible to make a microcontroller mimic the controls to be mapped to a joystick.
well that is lame. hopefully nintendo announces a new way to do this, until then I'll hold out on a pre-order. I don't expect it to be a hard console to find on launch, I'll wait a couple hours if needed that is if I don't pre-order. worst case I have 3 3ds's best case I sell one for over $100...
So has anyone talked to gamestop about the trade in offer, if you have to pre-order for it? and how would you do the transfer since you need to bring in your 3ds when you pre-order it.
I tried but they didn't know much (new employee) and claimed all new 3ds systems were online order only and...
Of course shorting it is not the recommended way (though it is the easiest)
you could buy a new fuse. I don't know the rating on it though. and size may be an issue but the 3ds does have a fair amount of extra room in it.
yes the charger and I think stylus are required at trade in. as for emunand I don't think it works on n3ds but I really don't know
latest firmware is required for a system transfer. this thread talks about it, and they know more than me about it :D...
nintendo has a terrible account system. basically your account is tied to the system (both wii u and 3ds)
there is a system transfer option in the system settings but this requires a few things, mainly
1. both 3ds systems up to date
2. wifi
3. some time to do the transfer.
I have read that...
exfat is also the standard for sd cards above 32gb and is what every card above 32gb I've seen has by default. saying your products support something leads people to believe it will work out of the box which they will not.
how will this make piracy easier? the only way to pirate 3ds games is...
someone should make a list of games that take use of the n3ds added features, I guess at this point only a handful are known to do that though. majoras mask, code name steam, mh4u, smash.
