Hacking Best way to backup NAND?

Hekate bypasses the fuse check so if you've updated and don't have a backup for that version, you should be able to restore it, then boot with hekate and update

Homebrew steelhax - A Steeldiver Subwars secondary entrypoint

The installer works on 11.2 if you are running the *hax 2.8 payload. I used a system running 10.4 to update OOT3DHax to *2.8 and installed steelhax successfully over the old broken exploit (First try gave title error but second try worked)

Hacking Launching a legit installed game from a burned disc...

My brother's friend lent him GTA IV, and I installed it to our Xbox 360. Since it is his friend's game he will ask for it back, so I'm wondering if the DVD drive can read enough of a burned copy or recognize enough of it or something and launch the installed copy?

    Homebrew DSi homebrew loader ideas

Yeah, really didn't know about the flipnote one, but I saw it on the DSibrew website or something similar. I really think the proxy one could work but it's cheaper to buy a flash cartridge than Nintendo Wi-Fi USB adapter, but (This may only be on the Action Replay) the contacts on flash carts...

    Homebrew DSi homebrew loader ideas

Idea 1: (I heard this somewhere else) Most of you know LetterBomb is an exploit in the Wii Message Board to launch the HackMii installer and install the homebrew channel, So could there be a flipnote file that could crash the app and load an installer to install a homebrew loader? Idea 2...

@Xdqwerty, Don't use games that have Easy Anti-Cheat as its been exploited many times.

@SylverReZ, I also heard one of the Prince of Persia games was so unfinished that it required the "24/7 online" drm so a puzzle could be done and the game could be finished. And that when the Ubisoft servers were closed the (cracked) game was impossible to finish or something like that
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Xdqwerty, That's extra scummy. Ubisoft nowadays ship out incomplete games like Skull and Bones which was being worked on for nearly a decade now.

I like that games can be fixed after the fact, hate that it's being abused via beta tests... And DLC... I was a 7800 owner back in the day and loved Impossible Mission, turns out I couldn't beat it because it was actually impossible lol
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I never knew about it at the time but a fixed version was available but you had to mail in your broken copy lol
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
So that version is semi rare
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@Psionic Roshambo, I have a rom of the ds version of impossible mission
