Hacking SWITCH NOOB PARADISE - Ask questions here

Hi, Looking for some advice from the resident geniuses on here! I'm trying to play local co op on minecraft with two switches (both sxos and on the latest fw). It seems like we have to be 'friends' to play co op but the only way to do that is to go online - both are on stealth mode at the...

Hacking Question How to Update Emunand on SX OS?

Hi there, I'm about to do this myself - did you update emunand with choi before updating the sxos fw or did you install the latest sxos first before updating emunand? Appreciate any advice!

Homebrew RELEASE Goldleaf - A Nintendo Switch multipurpose homebrew tool

Hi, first off, thanks for putting all the effort into this app! I just used it for the first time today so don't know if this is a regular problem but I installed an update (with ignore fw) and at the end a message appeared - error occurred, switch off console etc etc. However, when I re booted...

Hacking SWITCH NOOB PARADISE - Ask questions here

Sorry, can't help you with that i'm afraid... I suppose you can't go online with emunand anyway (I don't think?) so it doesn't matter if it's a copy of a nand that has been been banned? Maybe someone else can give some definite advice?

Hacking SWITCH NOOB PARADISE - Ask questions here

Quick question. I have a switch with emunand. If for some reason I forget and turn it on normally without entering rcm/cfw would all my games be wiped from the sd card? This happened before I created an emunand. Appreciate any advice!

Hacking SWITCH NOOB PARADISE - Ask questions here

Hi I recently did roughly the same. What you should do is: 1. Update Sxos to 2.5. 2. Make sure there is at least 32gb space free on your sd card. 3. Create emunand (takes just over an hour). 4. Boot into cfw and update fw via choidujournx to 6.2 (making sure to select the 'ex-fat' option if...

Hacking SWITCH NOOB PARADISE - Ask questions here

Apologies in advance for the long message! After creating an emunand and updating to 6.2 with Choi I thought I would check that my original fw was still on 6.1. booted the switch normally without using sxos (or removing the sd card, d'oh!). As soon as I did this a message appeared - 'corrupt...

Thanks for the advice, just wish I'd waited for you to reply! I messed around and ended up deleting all my 100gbs of games accidentally. Note to self, never do anything until someone smarter than me tells me what to do!

Hacking SWITCH NOOB PARADISE - Ask questions here

Hi, looking for advice from the geniuses on here! I''ve been using sxos for quite a while and have finally created an emunand. I'm on 6.1 at the moment but plan to update to 6.2 with choidujournx. After creating the emunand I now have an emutendo folder on my sd card - am I supposed to...

    Hacking Best way to emunand?

Thanks for taking the time to reply. I've never used checkpoint before so will just make the emunand on the sd card (without partition) so I don't need to reinstall all my nsps etc. Cheers!

Hacking Question help updating to 6.2 sx os 2.4

Awesome! Totally understand it now! I'm using a 128gb sd card, it's pretty full so will have to delete quite a bit to free up 32gb - how much extra free space do you think I need to make over and above the 32gb for the emunand?

Hacking Question help updating to 6.2 sx os 2.4

Ah, d'uh! I get it now! So I need to have 32gb free on my sd card but i'll be able to install games to the 'internal' memory - is that correct?

Hacking Question help updating to 6.2 sx os 2.4

Thanks for taking the time to reply - and apologies but i'm a total noob and don't really understand it (my fault - not yours!) I'm planning to make the emunand on the sd card (not partition as I don't want to format my sd card). So if I choose that option it should just take up 5gb, is that...

Hacking Question help updating to 6.2 sx os 2.4

Sorry for butting in but when you say 'you barely lose any space due to it also counting as "system" storage aswell.' what do you mean exactly? I assumed that it would take up 15gb on the micro sd card, is this not the case? Appreciate any advice as I'm going to make an emunand soon!

    Hacking Best way to emunand?

Sorry to butt in, I'm thinking of making an emunand for the first time. I already have lots of nsps on my sd card - if I choose the partition then these will all be deleted, is this correct? And if I just use it with the emunand on the sd card this won't happen?

Hacking SWITCH NOOB PARADISE - Ask questions here

Apologies for all the questions but I'm a bit paranoid about messing this up. I've looked at threads on making an emunand and there seems to be a problem of nsps being deleted as the sysnand and emunand use the same nintendo folder - is this still the case even with the latest version of sxos...

Hacking SWITCH NOOB PARADISE - Ask questions here

Thanks for your help Draxzelex, really appreciate you taking the time to help a noob like me! I'm thinking about creating an emunand and doing it that way. Do you know what size the emu is if i create it on my sd card (not partition)? Previously it was 15gb, is that still the case? If I update...
