    See: I already replaced the battery, the original battery died. (now I remember it, i'm 100% sure that it was water damage. the battery died, then I bought a new one, and now I can only charge the new one with an external charger)

    No. It's like the 3DS thinks that it's charging the battery, but it isn't. If I take the battery out then plug the charger in, the orange light turns on for a few seconds then turns off again (like it should) EDIT: This is probably a result of water damage, but i'm not sure, since the last time...

    I have an O3DS. The battery can be charged with an external charger. If I use a charger, the orange light turns on, but the 3DS still discharges.

    I meant that it was piracy, but not piracy devices, just software. A hardmod with a nand backup is the only way to fix it anyway.

    which devices? you don't need "piracy devices" to screw your 3ds up, just a 3ds at 9.2 or less and a sd card. edit: and yes, this goes under "custom firmwares"

    I tried to change the wired, normal wireless and virtual macs and the one used by virtual router is the only one not changing Edit: The one used by virtual router changes, but it uses 2E instead of 4E at the start.
