    Homebrew RPGHax was released!

I mean, the original post does say that this exploit allows the loading of "some emulators", so I was just wondering which ones actually work.

    Homebrew RPGHax was released!

LOL, I finally decided to install RPGHax today since it seemed like it was working so well for everyone (I was going to download the exploit last night but I went to bed instead and I would have it right now if I hadn't ... I feel like I always have the wost of luck when it comes to these things...

Hacking Mods Causing Lag Online? (SSB4)

Plot Twist: I just played tested Smash 3DS, and it is the same story: Mario Kart 7 is lagless but Smash is unplayable online. Until about a month ago, both my 3ds and Wii U had no lag playing Sm4sh online, and I even played on Anther's Ladder often with no complaints from my opponents. I have...

Hacking Mods Causing Lag Online? (SSB4)

I think I'll ask a friend to come test my connection soon. Until then, the only explanation I can see for my lack of a good connection is the mods I installed.

Hacking Mods Causing Lag Online? (SSB4)

Like I said, playing without the mods doesn't fix the problem, and the only thing that changed between having my having a lagless online experience and my current state was installing the aforementioned mods. I thought it might be something related to my account or ip address being tagged for...

Hacking Mods Causing Lag Online? (SSB4)

So I recently decided to get mods for Smash 4, and even made quite a few myself, but ever since loading them I find it impossible to play online (with friends or For Glory) due to lag. The only mods I have installed are custom skins for characters and GUIs to go with them, as well as one voice...

Hacking [Discussion] Smash WiiU Modding and Help Center

Your SD Card must be formatted to FAT32, the size doesn't matter. And Yes, mods work perfectly on the latest Wii U firmware and Sm4sh version.

Hacking [Discussion] Smash WiiU Modding and Help Center

That actually happened to me, too. I think if you press X it tries to dump Mii Maker so you have to make sure it doesn't by just choosing A to go home and then launch Sm4sh instead.

Hacking [Discussion] Smash WiiU Modding and Help Center

Did you change both of the last two numbers in the IP address on the DDD page? you can use the L/R buttons on the D-pad to move between the IP numbers, and all of them need to be accurate.

Hacking [Discussion] Smash WiiU Modding and Help Center

Voice Packs don't go in the sound folder, rather they go in data/fighter/character/sound within the patch folder of a given mod. Using Loadiine should load them just fine.

Hacking [Discussion] Smash WiiU Modding and Help Center

You can't edit the files in excel, or you will get that error. Use a text editor like notepad instead. I had the same error the first time I did it, and it's pretty counter-intuitive but it worked for Roy's hair. auto I reinstalled Xammp, rebuilt the mod, and formatted my SD card before...

Hacking [Discussion] Smash WiiU Modding and Help Center

Hi everyone, I just finished making my first modpack and everything seemed to work perfectly throughout the process, but when I try to load the mods on the Wii U ... nothing happens. I have tried both the Xammp method and loadiine, but in both cases they seem to work perfectly (my Wii U even...

Hacking [Tutorial] Sm4sh Changing CSS, Custom Sounds Per Costume, and More! Mega Thread!

Ritsuofox on Gamebanana told me a really helpful way to change the effects of moves even though we can't edit them directly. All of the "Trail" and "Trace" effects in the game are swap-able between not only different moves, but different characters. So to change Kirby's cutter effect to green...

Hacking [Tutorial] Sm4sh Changing CSS, Custom Sounds Per Costume, and More! Mega Thread!

So I was working on some texture mods for Kirby, and I was wondering if there is a way to change the color of the textures of move effects. Specifically, I would like to change the beam of the final cutter from blue to green. I looked in the folder data/fighter/kirby/effect/kirby/model and found...

    ROM Hack [WIP] Ohana3DS tool

Hello gdkchan, Your program looks great and I was really excited to use it, but every time I try to open any of the supported files I get this error: I have tried opening models in .lz format from Fire Emblem Awakening, .bch format from Kirby Triple Deluxe and Yoshi's New Island, .bcres...

ROM Hack [Release] Every File Explorer

I posted the link before on this thread: link and it was fine, but I will try not to do so in the future.

ROM Hack [Release] Every File Explorer

I used the LZ11 decompression, and it seems to have worked, but opening the files yields only a white screen. This could be because all of the files are in a .bch format once they are decompressed, and I have never been able to open those. My computer seems to think the .bch files are some kind...

ROM Hack [Release] Every File Explorer

I just dumped the files of Kirby: Triple Deluxe and all of the files (except the sound) are in some .cmp format. Is this a compression that can be decompressed with the plugin, or is it not possible to decompress them yet? On a similar note, I was wondering if there has been any progress on the...

ROM Hack [Release] Every File Explorer

Speaking of which, are the actual models for the maps of each level from Kid Icarus Uprising stored in the stage folder? I was going through some of those models earlier and all I found were some enemies, but if the maps are there there is potential for custom maps in the game...

ROM Hack [Release] Every File Explorer

I also seemed to have this problem when I was opening some models earlier today, and if the screen was grey it meant that the view was just really zoomed in, so zooming out (a lot, depending on the size of the model) could fix your problem. In my experience, if the model actually doesn't open...
