    I was responding to someone who mentioned gold-plated d-pad and buttons. Haven't found anything; even on Shapeways. Surprised no one has decided to make custom n3DS/XL buttons yet.

    Replaced the Circle Pad, but decided to leave the buttons as is. The white clashed with the gold on the black shell.

    Multi-colored buttons is the dream! But alas the regular-sized n3DS buttons don't fit in the XL, so that's why I thought white would be the next best thing.

    Yeah, it's gold plates with black inside. Got the white buttons to make the colored legends stand out more, but now I'm not so sure. I'm still replacing the sticks with a gold metal control pad and a gold PSP nub for the c-stick.

    Anyone re-button/shell your 3DS? I was thinking of putting the white buttons in my Hyrule edition, but after playing around with Photoshop I'm not sure white looks good on the black--and I already ordered the parts...

    Not bad for an initial mockup! Personally, I'd like just GBA on the side since it's technically a GBA flashcart, and less graphics and text on the back. That's me being picky-picky, and I shouldn't talk since I couldn't make a DS cover worth my life.

    So I was going to print the EZ Flash IV box art, but the proportions don't seem to be adjusted to fit a DS case. When I try to manipulate the measurements in Paint, the image always seems to stretch really thinly horizontally, or else the vertical sizing seems way too short. Any suggestions?
