    sorry kurikuri, but without bigbluemenue and savedatafiler, I don't think you can transfer it. Someone else could do it for you, however I believe sky3ds and Gateway encrypt their saves differently. So you would need someone with firmware 4.5 and a sky3ds.

    You make a good point Xenon Hacks. I was not aware of SDF existence until now. I guess I will wait for a MH4U save editor to surface and take someone else's save around my level to restart playing. And I will use SDF for backups from now on.

    Err, yes? I installed the CIA version of SDF, and mounted the rom. Then with the rom mounted, I started SDF.

    it can do that when the file it just full of emptyness. There's a couple programs to create empty gigantic files... it's usually used to test writing/reading speed of harddrives. That's my guess.
