Tutorial Chaldron's MAC Cycler for Windows

Windows 7 and Windows 8 can set-up a virtual AP using CMD commands. I assume the Virtual Router Manager software is just a GUI version of the CMD commands, but I suggest using the CMD as it's faster and can be less obtrusive, as you aren't running a full application in the background.

pavlos, did it work before? Try typing in "netsh wlan show drivers" and look for a string saying "Hosted Network Support". If it says no, your wifi card doesn't support creating virtual APs.

Macshift the adapter which is supplying the internet (for me, it's my integrated wifi card), not the virtual router. Going by your picture, use macshift on Wi-Fi. Should work then, but if it doesn't, try connecting to your router using Wi-Fi not gameboy, and then share the Wi-Fi with the...

Tutorial [HOW-TO] Have a homemade Streetpass Relay

MAC cycle works straight away at this point, but you don't have to use it at this point, but you can use macshift to change your wireless adapter to a used MAC address and you'll get a streetpass.

Tutorial [HOW-TO] Have a homemade Streetpass Relay

Guys on Windows 8, this is the entirety of what I needed to do. Extremely simple, works on a single wireless adapter: I set the MAC cycler to 90 seconds, and I usually get the Streetpass around the 50 second part.

How are you changing the MAC? With macshift, or another application? If it's macshift, can you post that cmd window? Also I'll just tell you now, I tried with two wireless adapters, but couldn't get it to work, but it worked when I plugged into ethernet. Are you able to get an ethernet...

Ok, the MAC cycler doesn't seem to be working for me. With the virtual router manager,, I was able to access the internet through the created virtual router, but with the MAC cycler, it doesn't seem to allow me to do that. The MAC changes are sticking, and the 3DS can "talk" with the virtual...

Tutorial [HOW-TO] Have a homemade Streetpass Relay

Good news, I got the Windows 8 method working. I previously tried with two wireless adapters, but I've tried using a wired ethernet and the built in wireless adapter and it works, so my problem was the two wireless adapters for some reason. Although I can't seem to call my WiFi connection...
