    Hacking Haxchi ignores default

From testing Haxchi boots it fine, least with the latest version of haxchi. Deleting the config in haxchi installer doesn't seem to matter as it generates a default one for you, I'm sure if you delete the copy it's actually reading then I can see that being an isse. Yeah I worked that out...

    Hacking Haxchi ignores default

That was just what I ended up with, it failed if I don't provide a config, with only the default entry, with A and default in either order and with all 3 but b set to another app. Though I don't really get what you mean by settings default "sysmenu" so maybe I am missing something.

    Hacking Haxchi ignores default

Hi, So I have recently hacked my Wii U and it's all works great except haxchi. I have installed it over brain training (I already had the game so it's not the end of the world if it's wasted) and haxchi boots but gives me error -5. I have since edited the config file as follows...

    Hacking Clear vWii iOS36

Cheers, I managed to get it installed with yawmm and the wii u claims to be installing the update. Thank god you can resume downloads as the servers failed about 30 times on a wired connection.

    Hacking Clear vWii iOS36

Idk, I was stupid I guess. I unintentionally modified it long ago when I first got the wii u and only now do I need to actually update the thing. As I did it long ago I don't have the cios and am struggling to remember how to do the whole wii hacking thing. But it's really annoying me as I can't...

    Hacking Clear vWii iOS36

You're right, but apparently I need to "Reload to an IOS capable of homebrew". Don't really understand how to get around it but at least it looks like I can get the ios.

    Hacking Clear vWii iOS36

You can't post it in the forum sure but you can PM as I am aware, there are many other threads on the forum with people doing just that. But I just can't find it online as the few places that do have it don't explicitly say they are the vWii version and I don't really fancy bricking my wii u to...

Hacking Coding vWii 3-core support - everything you need to know.

As soon as you introduce homebrew to the system people just load backups so unless you did it sort of like a regulated exploit with 1 app store installed where you are only able to get approved apps then the wii u game development scene goes even more stale because piracy becomes huge. The app...

Hacking Coding vWii 3-core support - everything you need to know.

If you want to start learning programming you can either take a crash course and just go for C (maybe C++ if you want classes but it would probably not be super useful for this and is just more to learn) or you can take a 2 year approach which is more likely to get you good at it and go through...

Hacking Coding vWii 3-core support - everything you need to know.

Having 3 cores just means you have 3 processors at your disposal allowing a computer, or WiiU in this case, to do 3 things at once. This gives a huge boost to pretty much every common task, especially so with linux, or other operating system, as you have loads of applications trying to do stuff...

Hacking Wii U will not update

My wii u had this problem because of the homebrew. I reset the thing and everything but there was no fix (I got an error code on updating). I traced it back and it was because I of the homebrew but this is a problem of the past and you should be safe now. I ended up having to get another one...

Hacking Coding vWii 3-core support - everything you need to know.

Damn, I'm on my final year of college then I will be working so alas I have no money until about july next year. However I am willing to test and as a programmer myself I could attempt to use what little time I have to try push this project along. Hopefully you get your money and hopefully I can...

Hacking Coding vWii 3-core support - everything you need to know.

I haven't been here for a while, really impressed about how much has been done and if my damn wii u wasn't broken I would load this right away. Still would love to help make this as I probably could help somewhat however I have legal contracts which screw that up. Keep up the work and I can't...

Hacking Coding vWii 3-core support - everything you need to know.

There needs to be some sort of project management going on here deciding on beta testers and where we are as a whole as we can't really just post stuff into the wild unless it has been tested because people will break things and complain, anyone want to try organise that?

Hacking Coding vWii 3-core support - everything you need to know.

Thanks for that little bit of logic, I think we should just assume it will be ok and that is what logic dictates and if we do run into any problems then we can adjust.

Hacking Coding vWii 3-core support - everything you need to know.

ASM is what the higher level languages like you stated is compiled down to, this is currently just the really low level stuff like messing with registers which normally you wouldn't mess with, soon the hack will be publicly available and usable in the higher level language so you really have a...

Hacking Coding vWii 3-core support - everything you need to know.

Ha, you will have to wait till a TV arrives, old one broke. Which leads me to a side note, any recommendations for a TV that can support the latest consoles all the way back to ps1/n64 in a 21" format? PM me if so because I don't want to clog up this forum post.
