Gaming Nintendo Has Stacks of Wii & DS Titles In The Work

While TCs definitely don't seem to work, simple gameplay mods do which is still a plus in my book since there are a handful of really great gameplay mods. On another note it seems like the texture detail has gone down slightly more in this new release? It looks just a tad bit blurrier and some...

Awesome release! Cant wait to try it out later today and see what mods I can get to load. 1783418828 Awesome!! The mod loader works like a charm! Urban Terror will even load although unfortunately the Wii doesn't have enough memory to load any levels. The improved loading on the standalone...

Yes the homebrew channel allows for loading programs with arguments in the XML so it's definitely worth taking advantage of.

Amazing news!! Also having some kind of total conversion mod support would be great, playing a game like Urban Terror on the Wii would be incredible! Quick question, you had mentioned earlier cutting FMV support to get slightly more memory freed up? How much memory would that free up exactly...

Good stuff! When you get the chance since I see you're trying out Atomiswave ports, can you please test Fist of the North Star and The Rumblefish 2?

Be forewarned that the Wii doesn't have enough RAM to load everything, Id say about 60 percent of the game will load though. You can also use the "force player model" option in the game options menu which will let you load some bigger maps. Especially useful if you're trying to play CTF

For me it's not really the sensitivity so much as there's still a relatively big deadzone, which often feels like a lack of sensitivity. I think the deadzone range can be set pretty low without issue, better to have a very minor drift but responsive controls over something that feels touch and go.

I shall patiently wait for your next release, you've already outdone yourself with the last release as is! I've been testing a ton of skins and custom maps and results are very good :yaywii: Not everything works but enough custom maps and skins work well, I also discovered some heavier maps...

    Latest Nintendont issues?

I hear that if you have read speed unlocked, it can spaz out on games and freeze them up. I've also definitely had freezing issues with almost every game so I would say turn off fast loading.

Its overscan area, it also cuts off the console messages at the very top. Happens on most TVs unfortunately. QuakeGX has an adjustable overscan slider.

I'm trying to remap the L button on the GCC to "jump" through the in-game menu but it doesn't respond to my input. Manually changing the entries in q3config.cfg also just resets to the default inputs upon launching the game again.

Incredible! CS 1.6 running on the Wii with motion controls would be a dream come true!

From my testing, OpenArena runs far better and stable now and will load more maps than before, although not everything loads and I didn't really expect it to either, considering how large some of these maps and assets are. I also realized part of the reason why it's a bit heavier than vanilla...

Emulation Homebrew Emulator [UNOFFICIAL] Some Libretro cores compiled with RetroArch Wii v1.7.9 (and other versions)

There are definitely scenarios where MAME is a lot better than FBA when it comes to performance, I'm surprised Retroarch chose MAME 0.78 for the "MAME 2003" core when 0.64 is a lot faster and was also the basis for MAME kaillera gameplay for a while, I hope someone ports 0.64 to the Wii because...

The other notable use case for OpenGX is Wiistation which doesn't really count as a OpenGX tech demonstration since the PSX has a much simpler rendering pipeline, it doesn't really utilize extensive OpenGL features whatsoever because the console predates anything complex when it comes to GPU...

I think the 0.64 MAME driver for ninja baseball batman would run better on the Wii yes. My experience is based on running it on my old slow PC computer where that version of MAME ran it full speed.
