Hacking Mario Kart Wii VC Inject error 20100 Wiimmfi

I'm having the same problem, only MKW doesn't seem to connect (error 20100) but all my other injects like Fortune Street work. Is it on the Wiimmfi side?

ROM Hack Tales of The World: Reve Unitia 3DS Files/Editing

According to their release page and the fact that I have played the full game... this is not the case. The banner was not translated.

ROM Hack Tales of The World: Reve Unitia 3DS Files/Editing

When you apply a patch to a 3DS game, you are unable to actually make changes to the banner file without outright replacing it (which is copyright violation). So you should leave that file alone.

ROM Hack Itadaki Street Ds open translation

I really wouldn't mind just a menu translation myself. Been playing this before the Wii version even came out (it was my first). My first import too, quite a long time ago now. Been waiting for someone to post a text translation for the main menu since the gameboard itself is pretty easy to...

Hacking Do Wii u games and Wii games require separate drives?

If it matters... this is my setup: Wii U side: - 500GB HDD plugged into the two ports on the front with a Y cable. Wii side: - 500GB HDD plugged into the two ports on the back with a Y cable. Using UStealth to hide from Wii U. - HDD is split into two partitions. Partition 1 is FAT32 with GCN...

    Hacking WiiFlow Lite

The exit to Wii U Menu is working great. :D Any chance we could get the gamecube controller from the USB adapter for Wii U to work on WiiFlow?

    Homebrew (v)Wii(VC) DS ROM Sender

Hmm. I wonder if it would be possible host an exploit on WiiU to a 3DS that is using the DS Download Play feature.

    Hacking WiiFlow Lite

Port0: vWii HDD (partition 1: FAT32, partition 2: NTFS) Port1: WiiU HDD (formatted for Wii U use Both drives use a Y cable that is drawing power from an external USB hub behind the console. Port2: Wii U GCN Adapter (only connection, not the rumble wire, rumble wire is plugged into external USB...

    Hacking WiiFlow Lite

Thanks for the mod, fledge! I use a Wii U that has two HDDs hooked up. Port0 is my WiiU HDD, and Port1 is my vWii HDD. This mod picks up on the vWii fine and everything loads correctly, but sometimes out of nowhere WiiFlow tries to access Port0. Seems to be with GCN games mostly. I tried...

Hacking No luck with USB Loader GX, WiiFlow or CFG - Possible IOS Issue?

"Several" different drives? What kind of HDD are you using? Got the specifics for them? Are you using a cable split for the drives if they're not self powered?

    Hacking USB Loader GX

@Cyan Is it possible to add GCN controller support through the USB adapter for Wii U? In addition to that, is it possible to add it to existing Wii games as well like Super Smash Brothers Brawl and Mario Kart Wii?

    Hacking DIOS MIOS question

Ahhh... you need to update your USB Loader GX to the latest revision. Here: https://sourceforge.net/projects/usbloadergx/files/Releases/New%20revisions%20%283.0%2B%29/USBLoaderGX%20r1262.7z/download

    Hacking DIOS MIOS question

Nintendont is pretty nice, you should check out their feature list. The massive controller support is what makes it great. It's the only way to use Gamecube controllers via USB on a WiiU, and it has PS3/PS4 controller support along with a ton of other USB controller options. Along with a...

    Hacking DIOS MIOS question

Sorry, looks like part of my message was cut off. I tried to say in the post before that you will need to simply change USB Loader GX's default GCN loading mode to "Nintendont". It supports it, and it supports it very nicely thanks to the efforts of @Cyan

    Hacking DIOS MIOS question

You should just use Nintendont. https://gbatemp.net/threads/nintendont.349258/ Download the application, put it under /apps like your normal homebrew applications. Then just change your USB Loader GX to use "Nintendont". Then, make sure your first primary partition of your HDD is FAT32, create...

@Xdqwerty, People who create revival services for the Wii end up in disaster, same goes for Pretendo lol.
    +1
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@SylverReZ, atleast wiimmfii went fine although people only use it for Mario kart Wii
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
At least if they ban you for cheating, get another Wii. They're cheap as chips.

Remember when RiiShop was a thing?
  • BakerMan @ BakerMan:
    not really
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
It got shutdown because somebody "accidentally" leaked the database for the amount of people using the beta.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
RiiShop is the laziest way of downloading Wii games. Did somebody not think of this through?
  • BakerMan @ BakerMan:
although i ended up accidentally changing my nand with no way of going back bc i didn't know you needed a gamecube controller to restore it (i have a wii minus/1.1, which doesn't have gamecube controller support)
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@BakerMan, I think you're talking about the recovery mode that the SaveMii used, and also was to restore softbricked systems.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
If your NAND was hardbricked, then just buy another Wii. Or go with the dirty NAND flasher method.
  • BakerMan @ BakerMan:
and if i find the sd card i have my NAND backed up on, i can not only restore the NAND if i solder the right part in, but i can also put my NAND on dolphin, then i can play dolphin online, like PMEX Remix or MKWii Riibalanced
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
    Brb
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@BakerMan, Oh yeah, that was a thing too. Dolphin does support Wiimmfi.
  • BakerMan @ BakerMan:
yeah you just need to put your NAND backup with wiimmfi on it
  • BakerMan @ BakerMan:
ngl i feel like if a bunch of my friends have wiis and know how to get wiimmfi and back up their NAND, then we could do a PMEX Remix tournament
  • BakerMan @ BakerMan:
maybe even add UMVC3/DBFZ and make it a biathlon/triathlon
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
