This can be fixed. i had it too.
1. Turn your switch on and let it deplete completely.
2. Wait till you can't turn it on anymore (because its depleted)
3. charge it for a whole day while it's off and don't touch it.
4. Unplug it the next day.
5. repeat step 1 to 3 once more.
Should be fixed...
Switch will update it from the cartridge,it won't ask for you to be online. (I did the same)
Btw. Playing together requires you to be online and thus will update your switch to the latest firmware otherwise you can't play with someone else.
Either way update your switch from the cartridge...
Those amiibos are available in the holidays (december).
Since there are no references of the amiibos in the game by default it would be reconized as a normal amiibo or won't even scan.
So yes, it will require an update and the only way to update is to update the Switch to the latest firmware...
Not really, it's just harder and takes longer to find a new exploit.
So you're fine, it's not like they'll be releasing homebrew a minute right after whatever they'll be explaining.
Many of you are asking how to remove update messages on the Switch.
That's why i will give you a YouTube tutorial on how to remove them.
This video isn't made by me, so credits to the author.
How is this achieved?
Your Switch, like everything else, has a built-in recovery mode ('safe mode')...
Question isn't really related to this thread? but it's either a bug or a feature.
After a couple of seconds googling thuis came up:
"
You unlock the gear at the following levels
Level 1: Head
Level 6: Chest
Level 9: Feet
After reaching those levels, just activate your amiibo and the NPC will...
Um. No you can't download updates from another console to your own (Nintendo is planning to though). Updates are saved on the console not the gamecartridges.
The only exception are pre-installed updates for new games. and no, downloaded updates aren't saved on new gamecartridges either.
And for...
If i remember correctly you can update your game without updating your system (though this may have changed in 3.x).
Be sure to turn off automatic updates for your switch in your settings first (Settings > system > Automatic Software updates to off).
Then go to your game you want to update...
There is a general sticked thread, question like these are better off there. The question is just too small to start a whole thread especially when simliar threads like these already exists.
Take it as a learning experience :)
I don't mean to be rude but why don't you use the search function first. There are a couple of threads already going on about this. Even on the first page..
Seriously don't start threads when they already exists.
I've never actually went browsing, but did use Fiddler once for blocking updates so i may be able to help you.
First things first, did you change your Switch wifi settings to be connected to your pc?
(Wifi -> Proxy = PC IP & Port = 8.8.8.8 )
And make sure the requests from the switch are...
Exactly, maybe it works for 3.0 but with changes. Not sure about that.
But for 2.0 all you can do is block access to the server (blocks online access), but you will get an error saying that something went wrong. Tried it myself out before updating.
It's either updating or not using online stuff.
No, you don't have to be on the latest one. If you can boot the game you can play online (for now).
The only exception is that some games will include an update, but that's not always the latest firmware.
Take Arms for example, it requires you to update to 2.1 to BOOT UP the game but not to...
In the Netherlands, but it won`t really matter since every copy would be the same.
It would be strange if the producers made different versions (except Japanese i guess)
That would be PegaSwitch, it's not for for us `users` though but still important.
It's not the movies or games downloads that I would worry about, like breaking into networks, downloading encrypted things, spying on network traffic. I have seen so many "Top Secret" seals on files when I was a kid
I was obsessed with finding UFOs, a surprising amount of US files where stashed on computers in other countries, China back in the early 90s omg sooo much
