because the 1000 has 1.50 kernel it should be better for emulation also the 1000 has infra red (use it as a remote control!) the memory will hardly be a problem you can downgrade the psp without pandora battery and you can run any custom firmware i'd recommend 5.00 m33-6 - especially...- StoneSkull
