Went to Gamestop yesterday mate, and the (pre-owned) Persona games are still 30-35 bucks. Even Ico - awesome underrated game that hardly anyone knwos about - is 25 bucks pre-owned. I can get a pack of 50 discs for the price of 25 bucks, haha. I'm super cheap, man.- teabox

Ah okay, my convictions has been reinforced. ... patching ISO's with ESR? What is this you speak of? I thought patching were simply for translations... and other miscellaneous things... :O- teabox

PS1/2 [PS2] Which DVD media is best for burned games on SCPH-75001?
Hello! I've done the necessary steps to hacking my system. Fremcboot 1.8 is up and running, but all of my discs have been useless. I have TDK DVD+R 1-16x speed 4.7 GB, and according to ImgBurn, it (the disc) only supports 4x speed and 8x speed. I've burned (or tried to burn) Persona 4 on...- teabox

I wonder if I could recommend that to some emulation devs that perhaps the sound could use some smoothing out to simulate those old TVs -

I think a few of the early systems could benefit from that, at least up to the 8 bit generation, by the 16 bit generation I think TVs had gotten a lot better in almost every way

Just give it a try, but honestly if you have a 3DS you can play DS games without a card just off the internal SD card
