    hmm....actually..there is a way to connect a hacked ps3 to psn! well....if your friend is on CFW 3.55 he has to go to OFW then install this CFW (patched for psn to work) http://ps3.dashhacks...access-released actually...i havn't used this hack, but i think it will work hope I helped ;)
