I don't know the best way to explain it. Say you have a car, you want to modify the car. You take some parts out to swap them, you still need the rest of the car to put it all back together. It's not a perfect analogy but it's the best I could come up with. You decrypt boot.dat, modify SOME of...

How do you plan on modifying it without having a copy of the original? You need to original so you can unpack it and modify it it then repack it which results in the modified version. You aren't downloading a premodified version, you're modifying your original.

Usually you need the original so you can run scripts against it to patch it. If you can't figure out what CF means based on the post, maybe you shouldn't be doing this. It's written in nice big letters. I understand that everyone needs to learn from somewhere but open your eyes...

Hacking [GUIDE] Using Amiibo .bin With Only PowerSaves For Amiibo

Yes this is the issue I mentioned in my post. :) If you run the program through a cmd prompt instead of double clicking it, it will stay on the screen and show that a directory is not found. I saw another post here mention the name of the folder. I manually created that folder and it solved the...

Hacking [GUIDE] Using Amiibo .bin With Only PowerSaves For Amiibo

I have no idea if it can write stickers unfortunately. That said once you setup your bin files with his tool it's really fast to swap between them. When you touch it to the powersavers pad it's a couple clicks and like 3 seconds to flash and you're good. The whole process of reflashing each time...

Hacking [GUIDE] Using Amiibo .bin With Only PowerSaves For Amiibo

I picked up one of these today and used it for Zelda on the Switch, worked great. I had one hangup where it was saying something about the path not found. It was due to the C:\Users\<username>\Powersaves For AMIIBO folder not existing. Once I manually made that folder everything worked as expected.

Hacking [Release] TagMo : Tool for creating/editing Amiibos

Hi! Thanks for this. I compiled it and installed it on my Nexus 5 running 6.0.1, this version let me write a tag(I'm using a powertag thing to test, I've heard it works with tagmo). It doesn't crash like the original, it seems to flash and say done, but when I use it on my Switch it just boops...

    Hacking M3i Zero Now Loading

So I just got an M3i Zero in the mail to compare it to an Acekard 2i. So far... I hate this damn thing. DSi XL 1.4.3u I loaded sakura 1.49 onto my SD card. I flashed the cart using the cable to core 3.0.5. I also tried another one for the hell of it, no luck. When I try to load ANY rom, it...

One of the sites that weren't blocked on the school's network was some file uploading sites. I would upload some games, write down the URL and take it to school one day.

  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
It was easy to bypass some of the restrictions, as one of the admins left a registry key in the administrative shares drive, which allowed me to get around the blocking of some sites.
