For FDS games... I did this and it worked. When it says flip to side b. First eject, then flip, then eject (which is actually insert). You should set up those buttons to your controller in retroarch as you like. I did this on fceum, but im guessing it may be the same on nestopia.
This worked for me, first map button to eject, map another to switch disc. When it says change sides to B. Press eject, then press switch, then press eject again. I guess eject can be insert too.
I'm trying to get famicom disk system games running. I'm using nestopia in retroarch, i've mapped my button to switch sides. I'm stuck at this point, I can't
switch to side b. Does anyone have the same problem? Any tips to get it going?
Has anyone got the cheats hmod working?:

I may be doing something wrong. I can't get anything to work.
@Cluster and @pcm720 and @MadMonkey. I'd like to thank all 3 of you and others that have made this mini nes a fantastic device. It's unbelievable what you were able to do with it. I'm always interested in what's happening next. How is progress on Hakchi3 going? What kind of things can we...
Thanks, I started when hakchi2 first came out... I can't remember how I exactly got it going the first time. One more question. When you say, install the drivers. Is that when you try to sync the games and it has a button that says install drivers? If I do that, will it continue with the...
So if I resynchronize, those RetroArch settings won't be saved? If this will be used on a different computer, what about the driver? I want to get this right and have a smooth transition. So you're saying, take my hakchi2 folder with all sub folders. Just remove the kernal, should I delete...
Can I copy my exact system, including retroarch controller settings, retroarch border settings, ECT. Onto a friend's fresh NES mini and have it looking/playing exactly the same as mine? Has anybody done this? And what steps should I take? Thanks!
Man,you tried and eliminated possiblities. I enjoyed reading your technical expertise on how this is working. I couldn't have gotten as far as you have. Or even knew where to start, like you. You went through the process of elimination on the biggest possiblities. It's gotta be something...
Thanks for your effort. i tested them out on the fceux core. results may be different on other cores, if it works like that. it seems like all of the scalers for quality just slow down the system. the games look good, but it's too laggy. The shaders that worked were the ones with scanlines...
Thanks for your effort on this. I'm a little surprised that the nes core like nestopia can't handle hq2x. Maybe that algorithm is too complex. It'd be cool to get any scalers working for better sharpness. For example: 2xsal, super eagle, ect.
Hello Kobe! thanks for all of your work. I have a few questions. I'm interested in making nes, snes, gbc, ect. games looks a little sharper.
1.Can the hq2x or hq4x shader be applied properly? If so, could you put them in a hmod for me. I'd really appreciate it.
2. I'd like to use your...
Do you mean that when it grows beyond 725, clover-mcp goes into a loop? When this happens, you see the crash? Wow. Seems like we are going deeper into the rabbit hole if this is not a RAM problem.
Any progress on finding the memory leak that is causing c8 and c2 errors? @pcm720 and @Cluster. I remember pcm believes the issue was caused by ram... Cluster, could the new version of Hakchi3 fix the problem?
I mean yeah sure but the specs are the same as a $50 model, it's just those pesky "quality of life" things driving up the price, like an actually working speaker, or buttons that don't melt, and stuff like that.
I think all in my Pi 4 was well north of 200 bucks 150ish for the Pi 4 the case the fancy cooler, then like 70 for the 500GB MicroSD then like 70 for the Xbox controller. But honestly it's a nice set up I really enjoy and to me was worth every penny. (even bought more controllers for 2 or 4 player games.) hmmm have never played any 2 player games yet
Yeah that's what I hate about the RPi, it's supposedly $30 or something but it takes an additional $200 of accessories to actually turn it into a working something.
Yeah a lot of it I consider a hobby, using Batocera I am constantly adjusting the collection adding and removing stuff, scraping the artwork. Haven't even started on some music for the theme... Also way down the road I am considering attempting to do a WiiFlow knock off lol
