    Hacking just got DSTwo.. update?

Updating the DSTWO on a DSi is safe, on 3DS it's more tricky. You should update it when a game comes along that doesn't load up. Threads about how to update the DSTWO can be found in this forum and on the official Supercard sites as well.

Hacking just got DSTwo, cant save

First off, what about reading the DSTWO's manual!? Nearly every game rom should save ingame; afterwards you get a "romname.SAV" file in your rom folder. R(eal)T(time)S(ave) function has nothing to do with regular ingame saves. It is used if you want to save while you're ingame and no savespot is...

Hacking Weird Wifi Issues with DSTWO

As I mentioned above, there's no region mismatching. Both roms are the European ones.

Hacking Weird Wifi Issues with DSTWO

Sadly, no chance. Both DSis had wireless communication enabled. I guess I have to live with this annoying issue. So I'll have to dig out my M3i Zero to play Mario Kart DS against my friend.

Hacking Supercard 2 Brightness Adjustment doesnt work on DSI XL

Indeed, but it's "hold select + Vol.+ or Vol.-"

Hacking Weird Wifi Issues with DSTWO

I did - patch mode, clean mode, nothin' works. Only issue I can think of right now is, that his or mine DSi (XL) has a damaged Wifi-Module which leads to our connection problems.

Hacking Weird Wifi Issues with DSTWO

Oh, I meant "Download Play" of course - the direct connection between the two of us doesn't work. And, latest patches and firmwares are installed on both DSTWOs and there are no cheats activated, nor are we in "clean mode".

Hacking Weird Wifi Issues with DSTWO

I have to bump up this thread again, 'cause the problem persists. Same DSi & DSi XL setup as before but this time again with the latest patches and firmwares for our DSTWOs (FW 1.12, EOS 1.11 from July 23rd, no plugins at all installed). The DSis are still on 1.4E and we were not able to...

Update went fine on European DSiXL.

    Hacking DSTWO 3DS Fix Released

That are good news, slayerdx. I'll put the source of your last post in mine - it can be found here. By the way: Why does Team SC always talk about "Fireware" instead of regular term Firmware!? Everytime I read Fireware I think: Uuhh, that sounds so bad!

    Hacking DSTWO 3DS Fix Released

To get it clear: I don't have to change anything untill I'll get a 3DS, right!? I just installed the EOS 1.10 without the 3DS related patch before. I've got Danny Phantom still, but System is 1.10 too - everything's fine so far on DSiXL.

    Hacking DSTWO 3DS Fix Released

Alright, I'm a little bit confused. I've downloaded the EOS 1.10 thing (as always, when a new EOS is released), deleted 1.09 from my micro-SD, put the new _dstwo folder (EOS 1.10) on my micro-SD along with the included "ds2boot.dat" file. Everything went fine and roms do work. System is on 1.10...

Hacking Have they dropped the ball so to speak

Yeah, I agree with some comments above. Team SC isn't nearly dead. 99% of DS-roms work flawlessly with the DS2. If you'd mention the M3i Zero in another place here combinded with your complaints, I'd agree. I've bought a M3i Zero in the first place, when DS2 was only a rumour - now, it's dusty...

Hacking Mario Vs. Donkey Kong: Mini-Land Mayhem trouble...

Perhaps it is the firmware. They've updated it several times to fix the issues, but it seems to be a combination of both - SD-Cart and firmware. I don't care, the slowdowns don't appear too often and sometimes even come in handy when you have to do several things at the same time.

    Hacking Bugs,Problems and more!

So, do I get this right: they needed 'round about eight weeks to compile this update and crashed the cheat function as well as certain games that worked before!? Hail to the king, baby! M3i Zero was such a mispurchase back in the days. @manu-m3: I appreciate your efforts of getting in touch...

Hacking Mario Vs. Donkey Kong: Mini-Land Mayhem trouble...

No, he doesn't. He already uses EOS 1.09, which has the patch you linked included.

Hacking Mario Vs. Donkey Kong: Mini-Land Mayhem trouble...

I have similar issues with this game too. I guess, it's related to the poor Micro-SDHC card I own (Sandisk 8GB, Class 2). Maybe a card with faster read-speed is needed to run the game at fullspeed.

Hacking New DSTWO Patch for... Portrait of Ruin?

@entombor2: This is an old patch. Try the following: Back up all your *.sav files (and what else you want to preserve) from your Micro-SD to your Computer. Format your Micro-SD with the Panasonic SD-Formatter. Download EOS 1.09 and copy/install it to your Micro-SD, the mentioned patch is already...

Remember when RiiShop was a thing?
  • BakerMan @ BakerMan:
    not really
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
It got shutdown because somebody "accidentally" leaked the database for the amount of people using the beta.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
RiiShop is the laziest way of downloading Wii games. Did somebody not think of this through?
  • BakerMan @ BakerMan:
although i ended up accidentally changing my nand with no way of going back bc i didn't know you needed a gamecube controller to restore it (i have a wii minus/1.1, which doesn't have gamecube controller support)
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@BakerMan, I think you're talking about the recovery mode that the SaveMii used, and also was to restore softbricked systems.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
If your NAND was hardbricked, then just buy another Wii. Or go with the dirty NAND flasher method.
  • BakerMan @ BakerMan:
and if i find the sd card i have my NAND backed up on, i can not only restore the NAND if i solder the right part in, but i can also put my NAND on dolphin, then i can play dolphin online, like PMEX Remix or MKWii Riibalanced

  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@BakerMan, Oh yeah, that was a thing too. Dolphin does support Wiimmfi.
  • BakerMan @ BakerMan:
yeah you just need to put your NAND backup with wiimmfi on it
  • BakerMan @ BakerMan:
ngl i feel like if a bunch of my friends have wiis and know how to get wiimmfi and back up their NAND, then we could do a PMEX Remix tournament
  • BakerMan @ BakerMan:
maybe even add UMVC3/DBFZ and make it a biathlon/triathlon
