    Yeah i never managed to get this code to work, it showed up in the Cheats but didn't do anything when activated it just stretched the 4:3 image, but having just tried the JP version of Gradius V today PCSX2 has a built in 16:9 patch that seems to work out of the box i just needed to rename this...

    Ok so for me to stop the ghosting i right clicked the game clicked on Graphics-Display and then changed the Deinterlacing to Automatic, then i had a clean/ stable HD image.

    But mine was done by an experienced modder who has done many units TBF but it could be a possibility though ive resigned to the fact its not going to work without some sort of hardware modification, incidentally im Not knocking the Junior overall as a flashcart as i happen to think it offers...

    I think what you've wrote makes alot of sense i wasn't aware that Officially a GB & GBC game use more battery life than GBA games as logically you would of assumed it would of used less power to run so it must be the far older far less powerful CPU is more power hungry than the GBA architecture...

    Yeah it does seem to be a problem only with the Unbranded IPS V2 screens and not the Funnyplaying ones as mine has the 10 steps brightness of which ive tried it on the lowest brightness setting with no luck.

    The Junior come out around December 2019 the IPS V2 came out in August 2019 as far as i know, and now the GBA community has exploded with these IPS V2 screen mods.
