    Retroarch always crashes!

Have tried both for a long while now and 3dsx running thru homebrew channel is the better way to go for sure. If you try to use a core that causes it to crash (mame2003_plus always does that for me) it gets stuck, upon each load of retroarch it will just crash trying to load the broken core...

I don't use the ALT version and I'm sure last time I played Rockband I just used a 4 port multi-usb device which worked well

Homebrew I need help! Exception (DSI) occured USB Loader GX when loading smash bros brawl

Not sure if this will help, but I had the same issue (which lead me to this thread), I moved out/deleted the TitlesCache.bin file and all worked fine again

    Homebrew Retroarch MAME performance

Hi, Were you able to fix this issue ? Are you using CFW. I wonder if you are set on clock rate 268MHz instead of 804MHz ? Rosalina menu enables switching of speeds, but I don't fully know how that works, just that possibly it could be the reason. I too was a doubter in RetroArch, buggy...

Hacking USB LOADER GX is slow to list GameCube games

Ah I getcha. Apologies Cyan. I could have sworn it seemed quicker auto I wonder does each folder/game get analyzed with this same method, or would one incorrect named TITLE ID cause an impact to the way each folder/game is loaded ? Also a thought, could a duplicate cause some issues here ? I...

Hacking USB LOADER GX is slow to list GameCube games

I have the exact same issue. I did get a slight speed increase when I rolled back all my cIOS from D2X V10 r53 to r52 as I read the latest r53 can cause some HDD issues. It's not great but rather than 45 seconds to load the list now takes about 30 seconds. I wonder, can GameCube games be listed...

    Hacking Dios Mios Lite

Sorry to jump in with a question which has most likely been answered elsewhere in this LARGE thread already, but is it possible to turn off the shortcut keys. I was testing out Capcom vs SNK (plenty of button bashing), and I think I inadvertently reset the game by pressing a shortcut combo

Hacking cIOSX rev21d2x: Yet Another Hot Fix!!!!

Perhaps now that the emulation & nand extracting abilities of D2X are extremely sharp, wouldn't it be a good time to create a dedicated D2X Nand tool accessible from Homebrew Channel. You could have extracting, browsing, emulating, copying and all the other features that D2X provides all in one...

Hacking cIOSX rev21d2x: Yet Another Hot Fix!!!!

Previously posted, these seem like the best setup: D2X V7 beta 1d - CIOS 249 (base 56) D2X V7 beta 1d - CIOS 250 (base 57) I've been using these on USB Loader GX for the past 2 weeks and everything run perfect on 249[56], some other games may need 250[57]

Hacking cIOSX rev21d2x: Yet Another Hot Fix!!!!

Tested again from my dumped nand, I found out that some of the other non-save data folders seemed to be holding back the nand emu from working properly, some games errored and RB2 took forever to load the data, think it was the tmp or sys folder, I deleted everything but left folders tickets and...

Hacking cIOSX rev21d2x: Yet Another Hot Fix!!!!

Does this mean we have to re-create a fresh nand for online play, or can the nand dump be created with a specific extractor to get around this issue ? I used bootmii and then showmiiwads to extract my savegame nand data, does this mean all my online play accounts need to be re-setup ?

Hacking cIOSX rev21d2x: Yet Another Hot Fix!!!!

Working now ... I renamed my nand folder (xnand), created a fresh blank nand folder, and RB2 ran fine, it created a new save and now loads up and saves nice and fast. So I guess I must have a corruption in my RB2 gamesave, odd tho as it used to work fine when on the standard Wii nand, I guess...
