    Would using a USB Wi-Fi adapter to create a local hotspot that only the N3DS is on (as opposed to my regular network) do anything? Or is it really a hardware issue?

    Sorry, correct. But what you are saying is that certain AR DSi won't take the NTRBoot, period, right? So I just won't even be able to, is what I'm asking. For some reason, the DSi AR just won't take.

    Yeah, that is a long drive. Not something I'd ask anyone to do. Flashing NTRBoot to the Action Replay would need the DS, right? At that point, though, is it not acting like a cart from NDS-Cart? Action Replay + DS = run flasher file, then pop that in the New 3DS and flash NTRBoot?

    I see. So, keep the Action Replay, return the DS when I'm done? Since the Action Replay is now a flash cart, similar to the thing I'd order from Hong Kong? And I do have a 2DS, although I'm not exactly sure how that fits in with the regular DS (DS Lite?) and the New 3DS I just bought.

    2DS version is 11.6. Needs the cart, but doesn't have the hardware to support wireless streaming.

    Well, I found a refurb New 3DS (not XL) for like $110, so it's less expensive enough that I opted for that instead of a New 2DS XL.

    Don't have a 2DS XL. Just a regular 2DS, electric blue. Don't want to pay for a capture card, so I figure I'll sell it and use the money to help pay for this refurbished N3DS.
