    Is the SDcard Taiwan production ? I had the same with a Kingston 4GBSDHC taiwan production. And other guys on the forum had this problem with sandisk and Kingston. So i just bought another brand, i believe DaneElec, and the problem was gone.

    My DSTT (original) did that some times. Messed up my SDcard. Only option is to format the SD and re-install all files. Do not copy the files from SD to pc to save them, because some of them are for sure corrupted !

    @hyperboy, INstall vmware player for linux, install a virtual PC XP (you probably have a valid license which came with the pc ?) and install panasonic formatter in this Vmware XP. VMware can detect and use USB devices virtually.
