Hacking Using CIOS 222 aqd 233 on the configurable USB Loader

I'm using the latest non-beta release (v49 ?) and it is in the game options (press 1). If you're using the FAT version, then you'll only be able to use 222 and 223 (249/250 won't be available to you), if I'm not mistaken.

    Hacking Priiloader Public BETA

Thanks. This fixed the autoboot issue I was having. It does have the HBC shutdown bug change520 described but fortunately I never shutdown via that method. Edit: I just discovered using the Reset button in the Home menu (during a game loaded with Configurable USB Loader) does not actually reset...

    Hacking wwt+wit: Wiimms WBFS+ISO Tools

Wiimm - When using "wit copy -B -s [source path] -d [destination path]", is it set to split the .wbfs file (2GB or 4GB) automatically? I know in the documentation a 2GB default is given and I believe in one of the changelogs it was set to 4GB but in reality, wit did not split the wbfs file...

    Hacking Priiloader Public BETA

I was using the original release of Priiloader until last night when I updated to the latest one on the website (r30 I believe.) I've set: Autoboot - System Menu Return to - System Menu System Menu - On Unfortunately, the Wii will still boot or reboot to the Priiloader menu most of the time. I...

    Hacking wwt+wit: Wiimms WBFS+ISO Tools

I had a similar problem only a few posts before yours. Hint: You have to define the partition (with -p) for any operation that isn't read-only or set it to auto. The read-only operations are automatically set to auto. Check out the excellent documentation provided. I've been reading up on it...

    Hacking wwt+wit: Wiimms WBFS+ISO Tools

In your opinion, in terms of integrity and speed, which is the better option: WBFS or FAT w/ .wbfs files? I feel as if I've corrupted the WBFS partition more than once using at least 2 different managers. Is it the fault of the filesystem, manager, or (most likely in this case) user?

    Hacking wwt+wit: Wiimms WBFS+ISO Tools

Yes, just saw that in the documentation. Removing and adding the problematic .iso solved the problem. Looks like I'll be using this program from now on. Thanks for creating it.

    Hacking wwt+wit: Wiimms WBFS+ISO Tools

I have a feeling that another WBFS manager has corrupted the WBFS partition. I'm hoping it can be repaired with this program. I ran "wwt check" and I'm met with: CHECK /dev/sdf3 ♀ * Summary of WBFS Check: 1 error found: 1 free WBFS sector marked as used! Note: 1 error are based on a bug in...

    Hacking Possibly a daft question....

Do exactly as the instructions say. Download the required .wad. Copy it to the root of your SD card. Start the Wii and launch the updater. Select WAD installation. Sit back and let it finish. The instructions say nothing regarding WAD manager, therefore, do not use WAD manager. The installer...

    Hacking IOS222 Loader?

USB Loader GX and Configurable USB Loader allow you to change the IOS in the game load settings. WiiFlow has separate files for 249 and 222/223.

    Yes, reinstall HBC. That happens.

    Hacking USB Loader GX

Just an update: When I got home last night, before updating, I decided to try it again. Of course, it decides to work. In any event I still updated the .dol. House of the Dead: Overkill still refuses to load and Rabbids Go Home freezes at the "Game Needs a Nunchuk Plugged In" screen (it is...

Tutorial Modify ANY Wii 4.3 & below

Does the Wii System Menu load? I imagine (I'm not an expert) that if it does load, you haven't screwed up too much. Is anything else installed? CIOSCorp, Preloader, Startpatch, etc? If none of those are installed, the Wii has been updated to 4.2, and the System Menu functions, I would back up...

    Hacking USB Loader GX

Thanks for the response. I'll try this as soon as I get home but I just wanted to add that I haven't changed anything in USB Loader GX since it last worked. I was playing all night last night and the night before with that revision until I noticed the two games wouldn't load. I re-installed the...

Tutorial Modify ANY Wii 4.3 & below

I generally use IOS249. Using the search function, I found this explanation of error codes: http://wiinewz.com/forums/attachments/wii-...error_codes.pdf -2011 means the WAD is the wrong region or the Trucha bug has been disabled. The .PDF has links to possible solutions.

    Hacking USB Loader GX

I'm at work and away from the Wii right now but I'll try to describe my problem with as much detail as possible: I've been using USB Loader GX for about a week without problem (4.2U / CIOS 249 rev14 & 222/223 rev4). The last update I downloaded was r831 (I think) and that worked without any...

Hacking Priiloader install over existing Preloader install

I did it last night. Simple and successful.

    Hacking Priiloader Public BETA

Out of curiosity, what's the advantage of holding B while selecting install? I know it uses IOS249 but not what the benefit of using that is. I updated from preloader without using that option.

Hacking NOOB PARADISE - ask away

Here's a stupid question: How does one uninstall a wad with wadmanager and remove all traces of the wad (ticket, etc.)? I've installed a channel via wad using wadmanager 1.5. To uninstall it, does the original wad need to be present on the source drive for wadmanager to uninstall it? Is it...
