    Lack of a userspace driver i believe.., ive only found methods to mount a usb drive on the pstv or mount a image to the usb port, not to actually enable file access via it, doesn't mean there isn't stuff hidden away that we haven't found yet however.

    Was the ROM the same region as your console? Either way you can get a nandmod and flash your firmware backup to restore it.

    sounds like you broke nds mode, which a simple format should of fixed, then you should of installed the exploit with the blue card, then insert red card and format emunand, have you tryed writing the exploit with the blue card without the system sd being in?

    devkitarm is basicaly the generic arm-eabi-none compiler with a different set of libraries for the arch in theory you can just install the compiler from apt-get and then tell devkitarm where to find the compiler, it SHOULD work.
