Tutorial Modify ANY Wii 4.3 & below
(notes: started with a virgin 4.2U) I'm wondering this exact thing. I followed Amarokz Guide and he used DOP-IOS (v8 I think) on 53, 55, and 70. I read somewhere else that DOP-IOS V8 doesn't patch right (something about bug not enabled correctly) and Preloader .29 will not work with that...- dow.dilly

He didn't copy it, get a clue. He credited him with it, and gave supplemental instructions because the guide doesn't work as is, and Amarokz hasn't gotten around to fixing the errors and changing the included software yet.- dow.dilly

I ran it as an app from HBC. I put a new folder in SD\apps\WAD Manager 1.5\ Inside of my WAD Manager 1.5 folder I have 1 file called boot.dol- dow.dilly

I tried running it, and it did open with a screen to let me choose my IOS, and it defaulted to IOS249. I didn't install any wads with it yet. I want to wait and hear an explanation first. I'm sure the guide was tested so unless 1.4 was accidentally included or some other mishap, I'd like to...- dow.dilly

I have the same problem with the 2011 error as everyone else. On the last page it says to Start wad manager from HBC. I can do that. Then it says Select IOS249. That part I don't understand yet. The only way to "select" it is to install it. I thought we installed CIOS38 in IOS249...- dow.dilly

It seems pages 8 and 9 are reversed. After you uninstall 249, you need to install cIOS38rev14 before you do the dop ios part. I got the same error- dow.dilly
