Namingway Edition - repatch a clean unheadered Final Fantasy II 1.1 rom and try it again, sounds like theres somethings wrong with your rom, if you used sfromtool it sets the pid to 1095 and that doesn't work with Namingway

If you're using a c/d/e version of hakchi 2.21 you have the slowdown/loop bug and can get the new fix from here on reddit https://www.reddit.com/r/miniSNESmods/comments/78i9vv/temporary_fix_for_slowdown_loop_bug_thats_been/dovlazs/ this will help fix sound issues as well
You need to use the 1.05 beta 0 firmware for the receiver and use a wired controller in port 2 to access the bind settings and bind the dpad on the wireless controller.

Use the patch here on the original japanese rom and it will work
