    Im sure in the Jap version, all Legendaries come back after you killed them if you beat the Elite 4. I remember this was the case for Latias and Latios at least

    in the jap version i caught a shiny geodude in the first cave to get to the second badge. then i caught a shiny magicarp at the dragon's den. i thought i was the man xD havent even gotten my first badge yet. my chikorita just became a bayleef and ive got no other pokemon
