Gecko should be available through the Homebrew Browser - check on these forums or on wiibrew. I'm still on 4.0... The game only seems to check for one of the on-disc IOS', and Gecko will install that for you without the full upgrade. I'd say wait for a little bit until one of the more...- Tolin42

Hacking Why do you hack your Wii?
Pretty much solely for import titles that'll never come stateside through a publisher. I did the japanese Metroid Prime, loved how it played, bought the trilogy when it came out. Hacking applying english patch to Metroid Prime Wii JAP
I can kind of address the first issue, as it was an issue for me as well. I read one of the other threads floating around that mentioned patching the IOS the ISO - and thus the game - uses primarily. The game uses 35, I think... but for some reason doesn't play nice with the system - at least...- Tolin42

@Xdqwerty, wire is definitely more practical IMO. Hell these days you can charge a laptop over USB, can't charge a laptop wirelessly though. Wireless chargers, even "fast" ones, are only good for slowly charging devices, plus they generate a good amount of heat too+1

Power banks can be incredible depending on your needs. 1) I have a 100w capable one that can charge my laptop. 2) Same one can also power my soldering iron (though is overkill for it) 3) a BIG power bank I have with an AC outlet on it can power my desktop weed vape during a power outage
