    FIXED Somehow my console ended up in NTSC mode. Wierd how it let me play Mario Galaxy and Guitar Hero 3 fine.... Ran anyregionchanger, set to PAL, reboot - FIXED!!!

    I had the exact same thing happen - ended up I didn't have enough free memory blocks.
