    Yes... I /was/ doing it wrong; I had soft-reset disabled. Enabling soft-reset along with use cheats fixed it. http://gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic=182028 AKAIO should probably have a bug report for allowing cheats enabled without soft-reset (at least w/o warning the end user).

    I tried it out; from what I can tell it doesn't actually /add/ any treasures, but instead seems to just enable the treasure's (unmask their existence).

    I've beaten the game once, but not with all the items. My flashcart says it has a 'dangerous' cheat to enable all items, but it doesn't appear to alter the quantity of treasures. So far I've started collecting several .sav versions and have begun to compare their contents to try and isolate...
