I had an impossible time getting this and a few others to work from internal, and it turned out that my games were in a folder titled /GAMEZ/ on the internal hard drive. They would all show up in the back up managers, but they all would black screen. I tried repairing permissions, I tried...
Would I buy it, yes.
What do I THINK it would most resemble? SMB3.
Which one would I most like to see a sequel to? SMB2. Its about time Mario makes a return trip to SubCon.
There is also a setting in FCEUGX to remove the NES sprite limit, which makes the emulation much less true to the original hardware, but it does fix flickering & slowdown on a lot of games by using the Wii's hardware above and beyond what was available to an NES.
Nevermind.
I figured out why it wasn't running.
Something kind of random on my part.
Though after seeing it for myself, I have to agree with the above post.
Couldn't even be bothered to use the gba versions, include the nes version, rebuild the originals on the nsmbwii graphics engine, revamp...
This isn't directly pertaining to the tc's issue, but I figured better to post here than a new thread that would have the same title.
I've been trying to run it from USB. Tried 3 different dumps that other people confirm work with usbloadergx (most recent release), running from a fat HD, tried...

I found on most games if you manually assigned a gamecube controller to controller 2 and the wiimote to controller 1, as long as you weren't using the analog sticks, it seemed to fix most ccpro...
Install priiloader.
Install forwarder channels to your heart's content.
If it bricks, load into HBC through priiloader and delete that forwarder.
Lather, rinse, repeat.
You'll also need WiiScrubber to extract the Stage files from your iso and for the eventual re-insertion after editing, if you're planning on playing it with a USB loader.
