    Hacking Heavy Rain

I had an impossible time getting this and a few others to work from internal, and it turned out that my games were in a folder titled /GAMEZ/ on the internal hard drive. They would all show up in the back up managers, but they all would black screen. I tried repairing permissions, I tried...

    Super Mario Bros. 4

Would I buy it, yes. What do I THINK it would most resemble? SMB3. Which one would I most like to see a sequel to? SMB2. Its about time Mario makes a return trip to SubCon.

Homebrew Megaman - FCEU slowdowns vs. VC slowdowns

There is also a setting in FCEUGX to remove the NES sprite limit, which makes the emulation much less true to the original hardware, but it does fix flickering & slowdown on a lot of games by using the Wii's hardware above and beyond what was available to an NES.

Hacking Mario Collection, Will Not Run.

Nevermind. I figured out why it wasn't running. Something kind of random on my part. Though after seeing it for myself, I have to agree with the above post. Couldn't even be bothered to use the gba versions, include the nes version, rebuild the originals on the nsmbwii graphics engine, revamp...

Hacking Mario Collection, Will Not Run.

I've got them on an emulator. Would still like to figure out why a title is black screening on my system.

Hacking Mario Collection, Will Not Run.

This isn't directly pertaining to the tc's issue, but I figured better to post here than a new thread that would have the same title. I've been trying to run it from USB. Tried 3 different dumps that other people confirm work with usbloadergx (most recent release), running from a fat HD, tried...

Homebrew Sonic Fan Remix - anyone seen this?

It's a fan made pc/mac sonic game that looks downright awesome. http://sonicfanremix.com/ I was just looking at it, thinking to myself "I wonder if that could be ported to the wii?" No idea what type of hardware it needs to run or what it was coded in. Just figured I'd throw the link out...

Hacking wbfs for mac os x

Use Parallels or VMWare Fusion and run WBFS Manager or WiiBackupManager through Windows. At least, that's what I do.

Homebrew Need help running Metroid 2 Color Patch on VBAGX 2.2.1

I never got it working right on vbagx, but it works well on gnuboy for the wii. The colorized Super Mario Land has the same issue but works on gnuboy.

Hacking DIOS MIOS! GC ISO Loader proof of concept (Starfox Assault)

From the above link's q&a: I’m currently not sure about a release that’s all I can say about that. If there will be a public open source release it will have the GNU GPL v2. So people can stop blasting him for not releasing it, for now. He hasn't said no. Just that he's undecided... and I'm...

    Homebrew WiiSX Beta 2 teaser

Yeah, I found on several games, trying a different rip or a different bios helped. SFA 3, Castlevania Chronicles, I know there were others, too. I found 2 different Mortal Kombat 3s, but alas both still crash, just in different places.

Hacking Which DOL for Call of Duty 3?

Not currently, aside from burning it to disc and playing from disc.

    Homebrew WiiSX Beta 2 teaser

I'd try another iso or something, because my SFA 3 works fine on 2.0.

Hacking Which DOL for Call of Duty 3?

Each level is a different dol, because of that, the game is one of the few that don't work on usbloader.

    Homebrew WiiSX Beta 2 teaser

I was using a Classic Controller Pro set to Standard (rather than analog) and it was working fine. I found on most games if you manually assigned a gamecube controller to controller 2 and the wiimote to controller 1, as long as you weren't using the analog sticks, it seemed to fix most ccpro...

    Homebrew WiiSX Beta 2 teaser

Policenauts worked fine for me on the 2.0 version, aside from the graphical glitches. I was able to control it fine once I configured the controls.

Hacking integrate hbc into system menu

Install priiloader. Install forwarder channels to your heart's content. If it bricks, load into HBC through priiloader and delete that forwarder. Lather, rinse, repeat.

Hacking What'll happen if I did a nintendo update now...

Install priiloader and block disc & online updates. Then you don't have to worry as much about forgetting.

    Homebrew Mame sdl unofficially updated

SSF2 Turbo, HSF2, & SFA3 are all too big to run in the limited memory the Wii has. Try older, smaller games...

Hacking Reggie! - NSMBWii Level Editor

You'll also need WiiScrubber to extract the Stage files from your iso and for the eventual re-insertion after editing, if you're planning on playing it with a USB loader.
