Hacking DVD Read Error (384)
Got mine working. I was using cheap Nexxtech 8x and Dynex 16x DVD-R's. Worked fine with Memorex 16x DVD-R's.- Afturmath

Hacking DVD Read Error (384)
I'm having the same issue. I started with the 384, then reinstalled the cIOS and started getting a 388 error. I went through DjTaz's Guide, and now I have the infinite loop Daemonfyre is describing. I did a check using DVDInfoPro on my backup, and it matches the image file I made from the...- Afturmath

Or, I also heard that if you use flash memory, it can act as more "RAM" at least windows tell me when I stick a flash drive into it. -
