ROM Hack Animal Crossing New Horizons Cheat Database

I'm also having this problem, 0 bells in the ADB. I also tried using NHSE to change the bell value, which had the same thing happen. I even tried lowering the bell amount in that and every attempt resulted in 0. Edit: Didn't disable the code before editing the save. Will try again later and see...

Homebrew Discussion Running extracted FDS NES Online Games on a standard emulator?

I hope this is the right place to ask about this, it's a little hard to nail down where it belongs. Please feel free to move to a better place if needed. I extracted the NES Online Switch app and the latest update for it. I found that the majority of the games inbuilt are standard NES roms that...

Is there any simple way to replace the Samsung Chromebook OS with Linux Mint via USB?

You'll likely need to remove a write protect screw or similar, but you basically run the script shown on this page in a shell you get from putting the unit in developer mode. https://mrchromebox.tech/#fwscript

Is there any simple way to replace the Samsung Chromebook OS with Linux Mint via USB?

I suggest using the Full UEFI firmware if your device supports it. That gives you the most functionality. This page should help determine if your device is compatible with it. https://mrchromebox.tech/#devices

Is there any simple way to replace the Samsung Chromebook OS with Linux Mint via USB?

I'd suggest seeing if you can install MrChromebox's firmware on it. That would basically turn it into a standard laptop, allowing you to boot whatever you want on it with ease. https://mrchromebox.tech/

Homebrew RELEASE Nintendo Switch SD to NSP Dumper

Do you mean NSPs this generates won't work, or is it something failing to decrypt in the application as it's trying to decrypt NCA's to create NSPs? I ask because I've been able to use the tool fine with 9.x content, including the Luigi's Mansion 3 Update.

Homebrew [DS(i)/3DS] TWiLight Menu++ - GUI for DS(i) games, and DS(i) Menu replacement

Ok, thank you! Let me know if you need any more information or for me to do testing, I'd be glad to help.

Homebrew [DS(i)/3DS] TWiLight Menu++ - GUI for DS(i) games, and DS(i) Menu replacement

Thanks! I've tried that and get a little further now. Now when I start anything it results in white screens, though with the correct aspect ratio. Am I correct in assuming that because nds-bootstrap is used with this configuration, that I'll need to do AP patches as appropriate for games on the...

Homebrew [DS(i)/3DS] TWiLight Menu++ - GUI for DS(i) games, and DS(i) Menu replacement

I've been trying to get this (9.0.4) to work with my Acekard 2i. Aside from the defaults, I've enabled Slot-1 microSD access, changed the aspect ratio to 16:10, set use nds-bootstrap to no, and set the sound frequency to 47.61 kHz. I know I got the widescreen working because I'm able to load...

Homebrew RELEASE Nintendo Switch SD to NSP Dumper

I found what was going on in my case. So I had an older set of keys under my user profile at .switch. It looks like that took precedence over the newer keys.txt I had next to the executable for SwitchSDTool. Once I removed that .switch folder, and the fixedkeys.txt, it all worked as expected.

Homebrew RELEASE Nintendo Switch SD to NSP Dumper

I've been getting these errors when trying to Parse NCAs for 6.x and 7.x firmwares: and My keys file has key_area_key_application_06 and key_area_key_application_07 populated, but it doesn't seem to copy to FixedKeys.txt. I've tried removing that file, and putting my keys.txt in place of it...

Tutorial How to remove fake tickets from NSP file ("Standard crypto" equivalent) [Ban Risk Mitigation]

So say I used this tool to obtain my nsp files: https://gbatemp.net/threads/nintendo-switch-sd-to-nsp-dumper.514816/ To my understanding, that tool generates nsp files that have real tickets with the standard information about the console, Nintendo ID, etc. I'm guessing that since that...

Hacking Discussion SX OS's Ban Reports

I mentioned this in another thread too, but I think we should have additional questions on the form, specifically which version(s) of SX OS was used, and if legitimate dumps were used or not. Reason being, SX OS 1.0 did not emulate the certificates, and if SX OS 1.1 is used without legitimate...

Hacking Discussion [PSA] SX OS Banwave is here!!!

I think we should have additional questions on the form, specifically which version(s) of SX OS was used, and if legitimate dumps were used or not. Reason being, SX OS 1.0 did not emulate the certificates, and if SX OS 1.1 is used without legitimate dumps, and there is phoning home about what...

    Hacking libnx now public

I hope there will be exploits and such released to make use of this. Until then it's useless to anyone without access to one. Unfortunately, while there are patches to make Linux work well on the PS4 Pro as an example, there are no exploits publicly available where you could actually make use...

I personally only get consoles for games that aren't on the PC. Ideally I wouldn't need consoles at all.

Hacking [RELEASE] WiiVC Injector Script (GC/Wii/Homebrew Support)

Following up, I've used the same command on a retail image of Fire Emblem - Radiant Dawn. I couldn't find checksums on redump.org so I just googled the SHA1 hash and found it listed on gametdb.com. The end result works, but it is bigger in size than before when I used an already scrubbed image...

Hacking [RELEASE] WiiVC Injector Script (GC/Wii/Homebrew Support)

I wasn't aware there was such a thing, that's pretty neat. Unfortunately I hit the free download limit on mega.nz. Now I'm dumping my disc of it. Hopefully it matches the Redump database. If it does I'm going to try this tool again with the changed command and see if it works any different...
