PS1/2 Emulator WiiStation - Another Fork of WiiSXRX released

Yes. I noticed that recently. It isn't a vsync issue. It's a resolution issue. It doesn't happen on 2.4, though. I realized that issue in Chrono Cross, when walking from down to up or vice-versa. CC's native resolution is 320x216 (not 240), maybe it's the problem. I took two photos to show: See...

PS1/2 Emulator WiiStation - Another Fork of WiiSXRX released

I feel that pain too, bro :P. I'm using two builds, the last jokkipo's 2.4 fastest version that run SOTN smoothly. And the last 3.x for other games.

PS1/2 Emulator WiiStation - Another Fork of WiiSXRX released

Tested here this compression with SOTN and RE1DC. Both worked, though SOTN has stuttering issues since the last Jokkipo update.

Homebrew PS1/2 Emulator Project WiiSX / CubeSX (PCSXGC) with Lightrec Project - Beta testers & feedback needed!

It lacks 240p support, which I think is the selling point of using the Wii as an emulator machine these days.

PS1/2 Emulator WiiStation - Another Fork of WiiSXRX released

It's much more related to lack of integer scaling (in 16:9) than anything else. If image is scaled to non-integer multiple of native resolution (320x240 on most psx games), then you probably get pixels of different sizes to compensate. That's what causes shimmering. Bilinear filtering mitigates...

PS1/2 Emulator WiiStation - Another Fork of WiiSXRX released

So, your builds are made among these forks just for experimentations? And is Jokippo working only on Wiistation fork?

PS1/2 Emulator WiiStation - Another Fork of WiiSXRX released

Tested Dino Crisis and the stuttering is gone. Thanks. But, for some reason I couldn't make it work in 240p. I deleted the cfg and configured again for 240p, but it keeps running any game in interlaced mode even with ONLY 240p ON and Interlaced OFF.

Homebrew Snes9x GX 4.4.0 Beta - Feedback requested

Is it really that important? Which games need this? Maybe Wii can't support it properly, unfortunately. Dunno if it's related, but I noticed that Snes9xRx runs slower than current Snes9xGx. Which is odd.

Homebrew Snes9x GX 4.4.0 Beta - Feedback requested

Ok, I just tested here on Wii and it's working with normal speed.

Yes, I just tested here and it fixed the slowdown.

Homebrew Snes9x GX 4.4.0 Beta - Feedback requested

The problem happens exactly from this commit and upwards: https://github.com/saulfabregwiivc/snes9xgx/actions/runs/6551339926 It isn't reproducible on Dolphin, because it probably use the same phisical RAM for any memory expansion. On Wii, probably you're exceeding the fast RAM (1MB?) and...

Homebrew Snes9x GX 4.4.0 Beta - Feedback requested

I tested again today after deleting all settings. Same results. I can confirm it's running much slower than before.

Nope! I'll do that only tomorrow as it's already late here.

Homebrew Snes9x GX 4.4.0 Beta - Feedback requested

I just tested this build and maybe something is wrong because it's at least 50% slower than the last build I made (with the filters I implemented). You can compare getting the old build here: https://github.com/dborth/snes9xgx/actions/runs/6284311903 Sorry, I didn't tested the new MSU feature...

Homebrew Emulator RetroArch Wii - The Return of the Extra Unofficial Cores

If I'm not mistaken, his nick means he is deaf, so I think it explains why he's trying to communicate in a very truncated way. I think I understand him, he would like to see some evolution to Retroarch for Wii.

Sorry, that one I put for download is for yuzu. For Switch use this attachment below. And yes, you unzip and put the folder inside \sxos\titles

ROM Hack RELEASE Final Fantasy VIII Remastered - no texture filtering mod

I doubt it would work only using these shaders, because the 3D models aren't affected by them. So, if background is stretched, the 3D models will stay in the same restricted 4:3 area and weird visual things would happen. 1697056071 Actually, I've managed to get widescreen for FF7R. Though...

ROM Hack RELEASE Final Fantasy VIII Remastered - no texture filtering mod

Get these zip attached. Read the txt inside with instructions. I recommend increase resolution to 2x or higher in yuzu settings. Found a way to disable texture filtering on FF7 too.

Homebrew Emulator Snes9xGx new video filters

It looks too harsh on image, IMO. Too much artifacts. I doubt someone would really use it on snes games. Maybe blargh's filters would be more suitable for snes.
