    Just 1 error, the saved files don't have the 8 Byte Header... Try to open a saved file and you will see you can't. a GUI based tool for wwcxtool.exe would do the job, no need for other tools.

    Your talking about Unicode/S-JIS, RE:Coded uses UTF16, UTF16 is always 2 Byte. To your problem: increase text_length ? it's the 4 byte before every text.

    unpacking / repacking -> wwpacker editing, use MadEdit UTF16LE I could write a simple .NET Editor, but it's such an easy format, in MadEdit you just need to copy&paste the text + fix text_length and it's translated. http://www.imagebanana.com/view/t9k8yqqg/config_mad.jpg

    Nope, company's like Square Enix have a good translation team, they could easily make a world wide release (JPN voice, translated text) but they don't do it because people could buy it twice, first import it to play around, then buy it again in their language to understand things, this was done...

    The game has multi 6 files.... Replace all _ja with _en or _de or _it or _fr or _es then most of the items/skills and some textures are translated. Only menu&dialog needs a translation, which is easy (if you understand japanese), text files are easy to find (jp folder, _ja name) most of them...

    i use this card for every homebrew, Gecko 1.9.3.1 + SD Codes works without problems, i found the problem with config -> it was write protected... (strange is i can write on it even with write protection on pc...) but this doesn't help with the code problem, it says nothing.

    we don't need to find the offsets, you can find them without any work with IDA Pro.. we need to relink them for a fully translation, but useless for the demo, it's to much work. @jservs7 Get MadEdit: http://madedit.sourceforge.net/ and use it on main.dol from MHG, it's easy to find some text...
