    I own japanese wii, it is d2c version. I purchased d2ckey from techsick and it works perfectly. Just make sure when you buy the chip, you are telling them to do the region override to japanese version. Then just install it and works fine. By the way, i got it on wii clip.

    I think region free the wad does not work on all the vc games right? Is it safe to try and install the NTSC vc games on the japanese wii? Will this brick the console? Thanks in advance.

    I have search the topics, but I didn't fully understand if US NTSC VC games cna be installed to Japanese NTSC-J consoles. Does the VC games have to be regionfreed to be installed, or is this only required when installing between Pal and NTSC games? Sorry for the noob question. Thank you in advance.
