Homebrew [Release] CIAngel - download GOOD cias right on your 3ds :)

Does CIAngel save the.cia file on the SD card when it's finished installing a game or does it delete the .cia file? I would leave like to save the .cia file for archiving, but wasn't sure if CIAngel has this option. Thanks in advance for any help!

Homebrew Anime is so powerful it can hack Wii U's.

Thanks for the response! I was actually asking if it is recommended that I update the Crunchyroll app or skip the update to the Crunchyroll app? I'm planning to stay on 5.5.1, but want to keep my options open. I remember one of the 3DS hacks required that you have the original DSi game from...

Homebrew Anime is so powerful it can hack Wii U's.

I have Haxchi on 5.5.1 spoofed to 5.5.2, and DNS blocking. I want to install this to have as a secondary entry point... I've installed the app, but do you guys think I should skip the update to the app or let it get the latest update to this particular app? QTA hasn't said either way.

Hacking is it possible to play online without updating?

That's what I've read...I just wasn't sure if anyone else had experience with LEGO Dimensions. Thanks for the response!

Hacking is it possible to play online without updating?

The 5.5.2 spoof works w/ Mario Kart online and NNU Patcher works with eShop. I'm having trouble w/ LEGO Dimensions. I get an error that the server is having trouble. I can get past it and play the game, but there is a big delay. I tried LD w/ NNU Patcher enabled, but I get the same error...

Hacking The legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild - Savegame editor

A quick question... I edited some things like arrows, star pieces, etc. I want to give myself some extras, but still have to play the game properly. This all worked great! I edited one of my swords (Knight's Claymore) with a huge durability and attack up number. It didn't seem to kill...

Gaming Download updates for EUR LEGO Dimensions on US Wii U

Just saw this... For other people that get the error code, does it tend to be a temporary server issue, or does it continue to happen?

Gaming Download updates for EUR LEGO Dimensions on US Wii U

I believe the option to install DLC packs doesn't show up until the update from the Nintendo server (game update) has been installed. I'm wondering if it's some kind of copy protection? Since their game is disc-only, maybe they're detecting that it's not running from the disc and they are not...

Gaming Download updates for EUR LEGO Dimensions on US Wii U

Thanks! I tried running it after Spiik and I received the same error. I deleted the game update & save data, then I ran Spiik again. It is currently in the middle of downloading a large game update from Nintendo's servers. I'll let you know if I have any luck! Update: After deleting the...

Gaming Download updates for EUR LEGO Dimensions on US Wii U

I am currently running CBHC on a US Wii U with no problems. I installed the EUR version of LEGO Dimensions and let the system download the game updates. Question 1) Is it alright for a US Wii U to download game updates for a EUR game? The game loads fine, but I can't access the section of the...

    Homebrew Wii VC vs Emulators

Thanks for the input on this! I might look further into the Retroarch (non-GX) options. I have an NES to classic controller converter and I've converted a couple NES controllers to USB. I'll be trying out all my options.

    Homebrew Wii VC vs Emulators

I'm sorry to drag up this old post. I have a question...or actually an observation, that I wanted to run by the community and see if anyone else has had a similar experience. I installed/configured FCEUGX NES emulator for Wii. I was noticing that there was a slight input delay when I hit a...

Homebrew Official [RELEASE] WiiU2HBC a hbl2hbc Forwarder Channel

I recently (yesterday) did something similar using Haxchi w/ custom icons. It was pretty simple to do on the computer before copying the Haxchi directory to my Wii U SD. Check out the Haxchi thread and the readme. Just be careful to use it on a DS game where CBHC isn't installed.

Remember when RiiShop was a thing?
  • BakerMan @ BakerMan:
    not really
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
It got shutdown because somebody "accidentally" leaked the database for the amount of people using the beta.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
RiiShop is the laziest way of downloading Wii games. Did somebody not think of this through?
  • BakerMan @ BakerMan:
although i ended up accidentally changing my nand with no way of going back bc i didn't know you needed a gamecube controller to restore it (i have a wii minus/1.1, which doesn't have gamecube controller support)
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@BakerMan, I think you're talking about the recovery mode that the SaveMii used, and also was to restore softbricked systems.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
If your NAND was hardbricked, then just buy another Wii. Or go with the dirty NAND flasher method.
  • BakerMan @ BakerMan:
and if i find the sd card i have my NAND backed up on, i can not only restore the NAND if i solder the right part in, but i can also put my NAND on dolphin, then i can play dolphin online, like PMEX Remix or MKWii Riibalanced

  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@BakerMan, Oh yeah, that was a thing too. Dolphin does support Wiimmfi.
  • BakerMan @ BakerMan:
yeah you just need to put your NAND backup with wiimmfi on it
  • BakerMan @ BakerMan:
ngl i feel like if a bunch of my friends have wiis and know how to get wiimmfi and back up their NAND, then we could do a PMEX Remix tournament
  • BakerMan @ BakerMan:
maybe even add UMVC3/DBFZ and make it a biathlon/triathlon
