    I don't think PAL will be as successful as NTSC-J, because of the video differences. It's probably a deeper compatibility issue than Nintendo's regional lockout. Changing that byte to 3 should disable the protection, but it won't ensure that the .wads will work on every Wii. common-key.bin goes...

    Are you running it on an NTSC-J machine or PAL? Also: if your console is modded, you can just get the masterquest cube disk, with OoT and MM.

    Guys, it's really easy. Unpack your WAD with bfgr_wadtools' wadunpacker, then open up your favourite hex editor and change offset 0x0019D in the .tmd from 01 to 03, then pack with wadpacker and install as normal. I'm playing USA SF64 right now with this method. No need for tools. EDIT: use v038...

    When running wadunpacker, I recieve the follwing error: cannot open common-key: No such file or directory common-key.bin is in the directory, and I have tried it as 'common-key' and as 'common-key.bin'. Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong?
