Hacking Homebrew 3DS-anmboot: Add an official-like boot animation to the 3DS

lol may I ask why you merged a github link into the visible YouTube link? I had to manually copy and paste the text to view the video. :P (clicking it takes me to the github link instead. I think it's a mistake since you have the github link at the bottom of the post) EDIT: Notice it seems to...

Misc Rumor Zelda Breath of the Wild 3DS build

Where did you see it running on hardware? Last I checked it only gets to the title screen before crashing after trying to start a game. There is a photoshopped image of it ingame on a n3DS but it seems people haven't picked up on that. I don't recall Pablo being the source of that image though...

Misc Rumor Zelda Breath of the Wild 3DS build

Yeah seems either the Redditor who posted this or his source for it might have lied about how long ago it was made. Starting to look like it was a AI vibe code project. :(

Misc Rumor Zelda Breath of the Wild 3DS build

I'm familiar with the guy who made the DS demake. I don't think it was him. BoTW DS was shared privately to a few people before it leaked recently and I've never heard him mention this one.

Misc Rumor Zelda Breath of the Wild 3DS build

Indeed I have personally tested in Azahar and confirmed it's real. Sadly can't get it to run on hardware at the moment. :(

Homebrew R4 Stage2 TWL Flashcart Launcher(and perhaps other cards soon™)....

The DSTT launcher rar file I posted earlier should work with most DSTT's and clones of them.

Homebrew R4 Stage2 TWL Flashcart Launcher(and perhaps other cards soon™)....

I looked around and unfortunately DSTTRecoverFakeCard.exe is not one I've ever used. I do not have a local copy of that one and it doesn't appear to be archived anywhere. :(

Homebrew R4 Stage2 TWL Flashcart Launcher(and perhaps other cards soon™)....

Here's the first one. The second one I still have but it's too large to upload here directly. I don't really have a place to put large files right now.

Hardware GBA Trying to figure out the capabilities of this repro cartridge

Can you link me to that Discord? I can try asking about mine there. Mine was a Pokemon Yellow bootleg I fell for. :P I got a official GBxCart and have been able to reflash it. Bugs me that I can't get it to hold saves right now despite all the trouble adding the needed components. The seller...

Hardware GBA Trying to figure out the capabilities of this repro cartridge

Took an updated photo. My Gameboy bootleg PCB now currently looks like this. Maybe those folks over there could help me trouble shoot this one too perhaps? :P I couldn't find SMD version of the diode this perticular board needs on Digikey so I ended up with larger threw hole ones. But I...

Hardware GBA Trying to figure out the capabilities of this repro cartridge

You'll likely need to swap D2's 0 ohm resistor bridge with a diode and install one in D1 as well. If the Gameboy repro PCB I have is anything to go by, this PCB likely isn't configured for having a battery. I'm sure the FPGA probably would know how to handle it already. The diodes are needed to...

Homebrew HaxxStation: DS Download Station exploit

If you mean install it to a DSi SD and/or the associated hax required to run it, then no. This is a DS mode only thing and DS mode software does not have access to DSi nand or SD so things like TWiLight Menu can't be used with this.

    Possible DSiWare ROM region change?

Region locking is controlled by a region byte stored in the DSI Extended Header of the rom. It's protected by a sha-1 hash stored inside RSA section of header so changing it causes the hash to not match anymore. (and you can't set a new one in RSA region since you need private key to reencrypt...

Hardware Eevitronics' EeviCart Pico - new DSpico board with built-in SD NAND

Oh I see. I thought you were referring to that as 8GB in that post lol. The whole gigabit/gigabyte stuff has always been confusing. Fun fact, most N-Cards use megabits/gigabits to describe their capacity as well but there was one very specific branded one that for some reason labels their...

Hardware Eevitronics' EeviCart Pico - new DSpico board with built-in SD NAND

Note that the site is listing the capacity options in gigabits. 8gbit == 1GB (gigabytes).

    Hardware Evaluating my flash carts

Oh I see you have an EZP. I found out how to fix one of it's issues: https://gbatemp.net/threads/fixing-ezflash-parallels-sleep-issues-once-and-for-all.678871/ The sleep issue is a hardware design flaw. Their board PCB does not have the IRQ pin connected to ground. Retail game's card ejection...

    Feedback For everyone JIG users

I tried AutoRCM for a short time. Too often I'd go to my Switch to find the battery flat because it didn't actually turn off when I intended. Stopped using it after that. I do not recommend AutoRCM unless you intend to have your Switch turned on 24/7. otherwise expect to turn it on one day and...

    Feedback For everyone JIG users

I've been using a launch model I got on launch day right up until the Switch 2 came out and used a 3D printed jig with single core copper wire pulled out of a Ethernet cable. Never had issues with it. (the wire was stiff enough that I was even able to give them a smooth shape at the tip to...

It might be possible to add DSONE to ntrboot_flasher.

Oh by the way, I and edo9300 eventually got flashing of MMD carts (and most other Datel carts like Action Replay DS/Games n' Music/etc) working. :D https://gbatemp.net/threads/release-custom-firmware-for-the-datel-games-n-music.678430/ Turned out it was all done with special AUXSPI commands...

Hardware What is the rarest DS Flashcart?

Yeah even N-Cards can still be found here and there. Mostly because the hardware got sold by a lot of different vendors so was available under different names. Probably sold more as a result. As for M3 G6 Real, I'm not sure what it's compatibility was like but there aren't really clones of it...
