    Agree 100% with the bolded part ---- as for the initial bump in memory, I wonder whether Cluster's comments speak more to other memory that was not accounted for, such as the hmods

    Is it, though? From the posts by @Cluster on page 456, it sounded like 2.15 shows the accurate memory available for stable functionality. Is there not much we're missing out on by going back to 2.14b?

    So if I'm down to ~270 MB of available space in 2.15, is there any way to free up space besides removing games? What could be bringing the total available down so low? In my games folder, the total amount is ~305 MB, pictures included. What's eating up the extra 35 MB?

    Success!!! Uninstalling hakchi2, reverting back to original state, then reinstalling custom kernel and all hmods in the correct order did the trick and Simpsons and Altered Beast launched successfully. The Altered Beast file I pulled from the MAME2003 repository doesn't seem to work right...

    Strange --- I copied over the recommended folders and now my games list, which for all previous versions totaled 295 MB for 531 games, now totals 315 MB for the same # of games (531) when I run hakchi 2.15 . What happened? Did some compression get lost?

    Thanks, BT! Then should I uninstall hakchi, and reinstall everything piece by piece (custom kernel, retroarch, clover, then games)? Or do I just reflash custom kernel (no reinstallation of retroarch, games etc.)?

    I successfully modded NESCEs on older Hakchi version and successfully migrated to 2.14b. Modded an NESCE successfully. Confirmed that it had worked. Went back and changed some game selections. Went to re-sync. When I click "OK" in the folder management screen, hakchi now doesn't continue...
