Here's what mine looks like. Folders are as follows, from left to right (number of games in parentheses):
Game Boy Advance(20) - SNES A-D(14) - SNES E-K(13) - SNES L-0(13) - SNES P-S(21) - SNES T-Z(14)
@KMFDManic Any chance you could make a video tutorial on having separate controller inputs for different consoles in RetroArch? If I boot up a GBA game (such as Megaman & Bass) after playing a SNES game, the B button fires and A button jumps, and this is not ideal. Y button should fire and B...
I try to utilize battery saves as often as possible. A lot of SNES games have this feature, and I was pretty amazed when the SNESCE UI recognizes battery save option even in the games I personally added!
Huge thanks to Cluster, madmonkey, KMFDManic and anyone else involved for the work they've put into developing these tools for us. Your efforts have increased the fun factor of the device a hundredfold! Added 75 Snes games and 20 GBA games yesterday, all the games I've tested so far have been...
Yes, the max. number of games I'll be having per folder is 21 as well, but that's more of a lucky coincidence rather than anything else. I compiled a list of games I'm adding and when I divided them into folders I want (SNES A - D; SNES E - K and so forth), the folder that will hold all the 'S'...
Can someone answer me, if this is a problem that only occurs if you mess with FTP (as the user I quoted had done)? I was going to have folders too (using just Hakchi, no FTP), with no games in root.
This question is probably already asked (too many pages to check), but here goes:
If I want to use Canoe, should I add the games in completely unzipped format, and optionally use the compress option of hakchi2?
And if I want to use RetroArch, I can add games that have .7z and .zip layers?
Or...
Question: It says on this list https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/12HKfz4ZQBy6Ip5awvh8t2aV5cVswYlnsdKxn9xoIW2Y/htmlview?sle=true that Robotrek is not working: but am I still able to play it without problems if I use Retro Arch? Thanks.
If the SNESCE proves to be unhackable, then I probably will add them to my NESCE. At the moment, I don't see the point because I lack the controllers needed for anything that requires more than two buttons.
Well, I finished downloading the games yesterday and the combined total size, when in zip form, is 210 megabytes so maybe they'll all fit...maybe? At least, if the amount of free space we have is roughly the same as with the NESCE, and if Super Hakchi (or whatever it will be called) supports...
Yeah, I suppose it's way too early to make a 100% safe guess just yet. Once the console is launched, the final truth will probably be revealed in no time... It might be that having all of them, even with the best compression techniques, could be too much for the poor console to handle, but...
Well, let me put it this way: do you think that in order to have the aforementioned 95 games, I would have to do some advanced compressing? I guess one could assume they won't all fit in there with literally zero compression, but would simply packing them once possibly suffice - in your opinion...
If this is the case, then how realistic would you say adding having (if I choose not to keep the pre-installed games) a total of 70 SNES roms and 25 GBA roms to the system is? (I compiled a list of all the games I would like to play on my system, and landed on that number.) With very rough...
I haven't added anything besides NES roms to my NES Mini; I'm asking these questions in advance because:
a) I believe the SNES Mini will also be hacked and
b) I don't think it will be that much different from the NES Mini; if we can assume Cluster is interested in developing hakchi for the SNES...
I'm pretty sure it's not a feature but I'll go ahead and ask anyway, just in case: is it possible to hide some elements from the NES Mini? Once SNES Mini hits the store shelves (and once it's hacked), I'd like to slap a Game Boy Advance in there as well with some extra SNES roms, but I would...
Here's what I have on my NES Mini:
Adventure Island II
Adventures of Lolo 3
Balloon Fight
Batman
Bionic Commando
Blaster Master
Bomberman II
Bubble Bobble
Bucky O'Hare
Capcom's Gold Medal Challenge '92
Castlevania
Chip 'n Dale: Rescue Rangers
Chip 'n Dale: Rescue Rangers 2
Contra
Darkwing Duck...
