What's the method to go from
Emunand on SD as files
to
Emunand on SD as partition
Delete emunand + start over
Or there's a migration option
Something else?
I'm not sure where or if i can ask this but..
Am i right in thinking that CDNSP is no longer a thing?
Is so, what alternatives are available to get updates and dlc?
edit-
With the emunand, can that be updated freely independant to the official firmware?
I.e my switch is on 5.1 but I could have an emu on 6.x?
Updating that emunand has no effect on fuses?
Hi folks,
I'm after a little guidance, i've not used my switch in at least a couple months, it's currently on 5.1 and is pre-emu nand.
My main questions are;
Can i backup my existing game saves, will they work post upgrade?
Do i need to restore/go back to clean pre sxos prior to installing...
Is there a way to verify whether or not an update has applied properly? example being octopath, i don't see anywhere on title or menu that states the current version of game
Has anyone been able to update an xci with nsp? Or more specifcally do you need to install the nsp to internal memory for the xci to 'detect/apply' the update?
My battery is also not acting right since auto RCM was enabled - this morning my switch is on 0%. Last night it was around 35%. I powered off.
Though now I have my docking station setup i think it will be less of an issue.
I ordered 12th of June (UK) free shipping.
Mine eventually shipped on the 21st
I got tracking on the 22nd
It didn't budge/leave Hong Kong until yesterday
If im lucky, I might get it tail end of next week, or the following..
This is all assuming it's coming via air and not the slow boat.
I...
Ah ok. I'm feeling inclined to let em burn because that guide looks like a right old choir.. and since i bought the pro, i may as well just use it and forget about warm/cold boots.
I'm also looking for a definitive answer as to how you should update to 5.1
I assume it's from within SX 1.1 / 1.2 CFW but I don't have my stuff yet to confirm...
i used to go out to the recycling center every couple weeks and look at the crts and other electronics people would drop off. Usually screens were broken or severely scratched from being tossed around. Did find a good one here and there, but never anything like a 1080i widescreen crt.
I have a few of those boat anchors in my basement I tried giving away but no one wanted them, So anyone close to Columbus, Ohio area that wants them, (26", 2x 19") please come get, for free.
Is it piracy if it was released for free? Not in my opinion, but I also think it's not piracy if buying it isn't owning it, and it's not piracy if you can't buy it from the original creators anymore.
