    There are plenty of guides on here that show you how to update your console from 8.1j to 9.2j, just search or look around.

    I would be able to do that, the only problem is that I'm running a region swapped N3DS, so I need NTR to even enter the eshop. As in, I wouldn't be able to purchase the dlc without hooking into my account by running some NTR commands.

    Back to say I got it working! It was my own fault that it updated too far, you wrote an excellent guide. My only question now is if 32 is necessary. Everything seems to be working, so why do a system format?

    Nah it wasn't the QR codes,or else NTR wouldn't have booted at all. I'm starting to think that I did use the wrong text for it... Maybe at the top of the text files, put that this is for # step. Probably got confused because those steps look so much alike. Oh well, my bad entirely.

    Nope. Went straight to the update. The only thing I remember was a grey message popped up, and I just hit okay. Since it was in Japanese, I'm not sure what it said, but I'd like to assume it was regarding plugging in the AC adapter.
