  • I am considering purchasing a used PS4 Pro off of eBay. After receiving it, I will install a 4TB SSD. Currently, I play a few games when I go to a buddy of mine's house such as Quake II. Are there any major improvements on PS4 Pro when compared to a regular PS4? I know the games will run faster and there is an extra USB Type-A port. I hear 6 gigabit SATA connections are possible, but I am unsure if this is true.

PS4 Pro consoles cost $120 on eBay. Regular and Slim PS4 consoles cost around $100 on eBay, so it is likely worth it for better frames per second and an extra USB Type-A port. If it is true that the internal drive supports 6 gigabit SATA connections, then I will buy the PS4 Pro for 20 dollars more and get significantly better specs.
I setup Insignia for Original Xbox just now. I may add some friends soon.

I play Halo 2 and Phantasy Star Online currently, but am purchasing more games soon. Anyone may request to add me, but if you just play Halo 2 then I will invite you to my Halo clan I just created rather than a proper Insignia friend request.

I do not have an Xbox Communicator, but I am considering purchasing one soon.
I recently bought a 3DS. I am now able to access Pretendo Network. However, I will need to get a new charger soon, so until I can do that, I am running off of the charge which was left by the previous owner. Regardless, I may add friends onto my 3DS in the future.

@SylverReZ my 3DS is already modded which was how I was able to get onto Pretendo Network. I modded it shortly after obtaining one.

Did you know you can buy some kind of cable that would charge your 3DS from any USB charger? I guess you did know. That's the way I usually charged my 3DS and 3DS XL tbh, same goes for the DS Lite. It was very convenient back in the day at least.

@sarkwalvein I did not know that. I'll try to find one of those cables which will come in handy until I can purchase a new charger. Assuming the cable isn't the same price as a charger replacement.
I recently got news of the switch 2. I am rather excited. I hope they implement a username system in the future though, because friend codes are annoying at times. It is something I miss from the Wii U days which had the Nintendo Network IDs.
I may create a GPG key soon which I will use to sign most messages going forward. Plus, it is awfully convenient to have a way to confirm you are yourself and stay anonymous.
Tonight is a peaceful night. I could live like this forever. Just me, GBAtemp, and whatever else I am looking at on my browser.
