The PSP had really loud speakers as well, just they locked the top 30% of volume to make battery last longer, but once enabled it can be really loud with great base! To give you an idea, I never needed to play with the volume above 15% once I unlocked the full range since that was as good as a PC at 50% with headphones at 100% (which is what I usually use on PC).
