go watch high school of the dead if you want to see worse, they did a recap on episode THREE. that being said, it's a trash series overall. nothing beats endless eight.

High School of the Dead was just "plot" and "plot" physics, kinda bored of that kind of thing, I want "plot" AND plot! And about that recap, sure they did a recap but actually released a proper episode on the same day, so 3.5 and 4 came out back to back... And what is even the point of a filler on 13-episode series when the source is long enough for 50 episodes?:/

Only "recaps" I've ever been ok with have been the two in Gangsta (yes two and they were also back to back), but there was a reason for those, the manga was getting cancelled and it was hell, so they had to buy time. This is just milking the hype though...

They only really make sense in series that run over more than one season, or have a break. I do agree on the 12/13 episode shows they feel redundant, unless they're only taking up part of a really late episode to reference something really early on. 10+ weeks is a long enough time to forget smaller things.

I agree, but sometimes they just do it for the heck of it so the channel won't have to leave a gap in the airings during the week between seasons (since some anime start a week later or a week earlier so they try to balance it with this kind of thing). Still, when it's the hype of the season, this shit is unacceptable!
