Yeah. Weird it's not more pinned to the X collection's success.

THANK YOU! I just said that a minute ago. O_O

Perhaps Capcom just wants to test the waters, but OG Mega Man has an entirely different user base than MMX. It's an terrible way to gauge it. When I saw that article this morning, I thought, "I don't like mega man, but I'd buy 11 purely to show support for a new X game" which isn't how it should be at all

Which is terrible cause capcom said the same toxic thing a year ago with ultra street fighter 2 on switch. Claiming the idea of not making games for that console if sales don't meet expectations which is bad practice.

But thank you for supporting them even if they don't deserve it. o_o

Capcom's history only a few years ago was so rocky, when they were looking for a buyout. When the Legends 3 cancelation was still a huge drama. In the end, sometimes you just have to vote with your wallet for the greater good lol. I'd rather Capcom make some dumb choices here and there rather than it be dead

I rather they just deliver what people ask for, which seem so hard for them to do. The fact that the Japanese division of most game companies make the final decision over anything and hardly give a listen to international customers and when they do is always select few. Capcom survived 30 years with the most insane roller coaster ride of ups and downs of most who didn't even make it this far.

We got Monster Hunter Pc, and at least more Okami platforms. That's something. They've still left ace attorney spinoffs in Japan though, despite crazy western demand. Capcom doesn't seem to like money very much unless it's very specific IPs lol.

$60 games are worth their attention the most overall which is why they still support a low selling game like street fighter V today, and back peddle on HD ports when they see possible to make up for it. $40 or lower don't takes as much priority since they don't really make them as often. 3DS still has less than $10 games by capcom since 7 years ago (i think exactly 9).

You wanna see back peddling? Look at MvC:I hahahaha

Perhaps, but it was more of a Bold Sequel than a port so which do you think is easier to sell. A glorified HD game of a already fan favorite game or a new entry of a fan favorite game?

A bold, botched sequel. They're so conservative with their IPs and yet they sometimes ship incomplete things out the door that hurt their brand. I think a new MvC game has higher sales potential than most remasters they were putting out.
